Title: Is Bully Modding dying?
Post by: SWEGTA on August 24, 2014, 05:21:02 PM
Quite recently, we have had a ton of new and old modders leave the modding side of Bully.
Mainly because it's still very limiting, but also due to drama/getting bored with the game/running out of ideas.

The one thing that worries me a bit would be the possibility of modding dying out?
If we do get Bully 2, then my prediction would be that we would have yet another flock of people interested in modding.

But right now, we're losing a ton of good people. Most of them are still around the board, but some of they can only be reached on xfire, Twitter, Facebook or occasionally in the Youtube comment section.

Yes, it is. Many people are leaving due to boredom, busy with other things, and other things.

However if we modders that haven't left (Me, SWEGTA, c00l, etc) make some good fun mods that show how fun modding this game can be we can revive it. A multiplayer mod is guaranteed to do just that but I don't think any of us have the skills to do that yet. Some mission mods may do the trick. I want to make a mission creator application (Sort of like ultimate pasta but easier for people and made for missions) which will let you make missions without even knowing LUA. It will generate a script for you. This idea was not my own, c00l had the idea and I added some onto it. If he doesn't mind I'll make the app though since I know more in C. I think he only knows LUA.

I don't know.

I believe people just don't wanna mod because they find Lua a  hassle to deal with or just get bored of the game.

Modding is pretty much dying. One of the best if not the best modder is very inactive lately due to personal issues, and many people know him. Madman.

I'm leaving for 3 reasons.
1) Boredom
2) No more ideas
3) a slow computer

I wont make a topic because barely anyone knows me and I'm new.

I might make another tutorial,  since that actually got BOSS into modding if I recall correctly.

It did, I wanted to make a new video tutorial too but I never got to it. I made a new LUA tutorial just today if you want to take your info off there as it covers a lot of stuff. The tutorial is here (http://www.bully-board.com/index.php?topic=21324.0).

Also speaking of people quitting, c00l doesn't want to admit it but he is pretty much done it seems. He is always bored of it and playing samp all the time. Also he's not as active as he used to be on BB it seems. At least not on topics I go to.

^Well, Daboss. It's not just like that.

I'll be talking about me now. Sometimes, I do things just fine and suddenly, I get bored of them. The best thing to do is to forget about this thing for a week or 2, then I'll find myself returning to it by myself since I miss it. Examples for this include the SOB, my and C00l's story. Sometimes, I want to write a 100 paragraphs, but I just get bored sometimes, so I just leave it and return to it after some days. Another example is this essay I've been writing for 3 weeks now. :P

I think that C00l is just like me, so he'll just return to modding after some time. Just give him time, and he'll return by himself.

It's been most of this summer. He's been playing SAMP most of the time. His Russell Mod hasn't been worked on in a very long time, and when he does work on it he still gets bored. I also thought it was because he was burnt out on that mod and was bored of it and to try something else. So he did that today, got bored before he even wrote an executable script (I was team viewing him)

Well I got bored cuz it took us 40 minutes to actually start doing something.
We just kept wasting time with boring stuff.

I'd like to make some sort of new cliqué with some new missions (Maybe replacing the dropouts since you can't add any new peds to the game, right?)

Would be cool if they could use a fighting style that utilises most of the moves in game already, like Jimmy's body blow to uppercut move, or maybe J_Melee_A's unused tackle attack.

Too bad I have no experience in LUA scripting, and I'm too lazy to learn what's necessary for such a big mod.

For me bully modding isn't dying. It is just that the super mod has changed mostly everything. Everyone usually just starts up the super mod and switch characters and all I see a bunch of video's on the super mod now. I agree it is a good mod but I think it shouldn't have been released. Many will just use the Super Mod and play that all day. It is bringing traffic but it isn't getting anyone pumped to mod at all. Most of the youtubers have heard of modding but then went straight to the super mod. It is not the point of modding getting boring but many people in general just using one mod but not creating one themselves.

I am creating a ton of mods now with my free time but I have no internet to use occasionally so I am pretty much useless right now.
We need a lua script maker right now to make modding easier, I don't mean anything that creates a mod for anyone but just sets up the mod then usually just allows them to create their own codes. I am working on some fighting mods, mission mods and a zombie mod similar to your zombie mod SWEGTA. It is in the beta stages and won't be released until about the winter if I work on it long enough. I created at least the safe zones that spawn the survivors and all.

Next is getting plenty new modders back to the board create tutorials and video's daily on new mods and just some fun made up mods that take about a couple hours to the most. Something like a funny brawl or mini game. It doesn't have to be heavily scripted to take days but at least enough scripting where they will spawn and do certain things. I created the Derby Boss Mod the same way a mod where you can fight Derby just like the mission. I am also releasing this tonight, it will feature a normal fight but with a Dishonorable Fight Variation.

I am also creating some more mini boss fights including Johnny, Russell, Edgar and normal mini boss missions. Their will also be plenty errands being released I just need ideas, if you can think of ideas for errands please give me some their easy to create. I think errands will get the modding community back on track. Everyone loves bully errands and how they feature funny humor and allows you go to unreachable places. Missions and Errands I think are the biggest mods to be released and used by now anytime. Anytime I see a mission I think wow so much we can accomplish even with a short easy to make errand I can even make a tutorial script for this type of thing paste it to the board. I just used scripts from my mission, also you need some main functions like getting them to attack and getting them to run and chase after you. So hopefully no one will quit for a while I am still around. Reath is busy right now but he showed me alot of stuff in lua to help me with my mods. Anyway message me about some errand idea's and I'll make them. I can make the peds talk and climb ladders to make it seem like game like scripts. #NeverGiveUpOnBullyModding

I somewhat agree but, the Super Mod is like a trainer in a way. It will do some basic stuff but it certainly doesn't kill the need to make more mods. Look at GTA IV for example, it has a trainer with even more stuff then the super mod yet GTA IV modding is still very popular.

Look at the stats of the board, this year is the 2nd worst year for activity. The year isn't over I know, but it isn't too far from over and the stats are really low.

I have a few missions in the making as well, and they are pretty interesting. Hopefully missions will be the thing that revives modding.

GTA 4 has new vehicles comming daily.  Maby we shoud start learning creating customs cars, bikes.  I know rambo made some nice cars.

I would love to see a sanchez in Bully.

Post by: c00ld0c26 on August 26, 2014, 06:18:27 AM
When I worked on how to make missions, I figured out most of the stuff, but I had only 1 CODE left to make a mission (the most importent one).
DaBOSS found that code, and that completed the puzzel.
Now missions can be created, like the ones in my deleted video of Alpha Russell Mod.
Now if DaBOSS can take all this, and put it together into missons, im sure we could of make a great revive of the modding section of the board.
If I get myself pumped up again, I could propably do Russell mod done, which means a whole custom story for Bully.
I saw how that will work, until my script got infected by Notepad++ and from there, it all went down hill.

I feel bad for your notepad++ thing... lol I never got that. I honestly think if must be something else, notepad is just a text editor.
Title: Re: Is Bully Modding dying?

I'm on the fence for now. Super Mod allows the YouTubers to turn into a dog and cause mayhem. But it leads viewers to mainly be interested in that.

What we need to do is up our game. Release something big and impressive.
I plan on eventually finishing my First Person Mod, but right now I gotta get some videos and Machinima Maker 1.3 out.

As for what Mick said, Rambo never made those models, just rigged them.
But perhaps some character replacements would bring traffic?
I'll try to do my part and get some more mods going.
Title: Re: Is Bully Modding dying?

@Swegta

You should make a tutorial on how to "rig" stuff to make use them in bully.
Like how you made the OG Loc skin.    That would bring more people.

Your Lua tutorials is enough to make people join the modding.

I can't do that though until our mysterious modder allows me to.
He wants full on credit for figuring it out, so we gotta wait it out.

Good, becuase stealing is not the bullworth way boy.

I have been trying to make my own custom model mod that replace a ped/player but, I won't say what it is because I want it to be a surprise.

Also with the big and impressive thing. I was thinking it would be cool to have all of the biblio techa team make a mission pack that showed off each member's skills. SWEGTA's great ideas so he'd make the plot, my coding so I'd script the mission, c00l is in the middle with ideas and scripting so he'd do both, and before MadmaN has to leave he can help all around. Oh, and Lemon for the animations. (http://www.DaBOSS-Is-A-Pimpin-OG.com) Rise, Red, Madhattrick and Walter (I think Walter is BT right?) sadly quit I believe so they cannot help. Also Lemon will do everything too because he's a straight up motha fuckin' modding legend coz his old mods prove it and he's awesome!!! :D

Also... well I don't want to reveal much about this other "thing" but something possibly big is being worked on atm... can't really give details. Get excited tho! Well not too excited... calm down people.

Also, I am going to make a mission pack soon that has a series of several missions I think.

Just a quick question, has the Player Selector mod been discontinued now that Rise has quit modding?
Title: Re: Is Bully Modding dying?
Post by: c00ld0c26 on August 27, 2014, 11:48:57 AM
Player selector has been canceled for public release and will be continued just for the members of biblio techa due to rise claiming the community doesn't deserve it.
Yet in the next few days There will be a shocking release of something regarding it.
Title: Re: Is Bully Modding dying?
Post by: SWEGTA on August 27, 2014, 03:09:09 PM
Either way, we still have to respect the author's wishes.
And Super Mod accomplished what Player Selector originally attempted to do in an instant.
There is also a smaller version of Player Selector on BullyMods if I'm not mistaken.
Title: Re: Is Bully Modding dying?
Post by: DaBOSS54320 on August 27, 2014, 07:15:46 PM
Based on what MadmaN has told me, he still wishes to honor his promise. He promised PSMM would get released so it WILL get released. Rise does not want it to get released, so he probably won't do it. If MadmaN has to leave due to... well his personal issues then the rest of biblio techa can still take it over.

To everyone rushing it: Calm down, it will come out when it comes out and rushing does not solve/do anything but irritate the creators, which in turn could delay it.

Super mod is cool.

Since you make your own mods now, you understand it better. For other people who do not make mods themselves it is still legendary to them.
Title: Re: Is Bully Modding dying?

True.
And like I said, Super Mod accomplishes that in just a fraction.

Still, we do get a few uploads on BullyMods from time to time.
Modding is alive, but not as popular as it was when PewDiePie did his Let's Play.

It's far from dead.  People are just too shy to speak around here its only rare we get like a new person every 1-2 months. Then they disappear or retire from modding

On rare occasions, they do tend to stay.
I know for a fact that GreenOmnitrix returned from the grave and took up modding again.

What we need to do is keep our members close by holding active discussions with them. Whether they need our help, want to show off a mod they made or just want some feedback.
I see too many topics left unanswered and ending up entirely ignored by the community as a whole. I too am to blame for this, but I think we could all contribute and make any new member feel like home.

I'll try to bring more users here, since I have been solely promoting BullyMods lately.
I might make a promo soon.

Seeing as I'm already in a game & design gymnasium I figure that learning LUA wouldn't hurt, so I might as well try it on.

What's hands down the best LUA scripting guide for Bully?

Title: Re: Is Bully Modding dying?
Post by: SWEGTA on August 29, 2014, 02:38:03 PM
Anything by DaBOSS.
He goes pretty in-depth and explains each part one by one. You could also check out my old school tutorials if you want a more of a visual experience of someone demonstrating how to make simple scripts.

You could also get 'Scholarship Edition : Lua Developer' from BullyMods.net.
It's pretty much just Ultimate Pasta, but it a way better format with better and new features.

Thanks. I did make a mod about 2 months ago that replaced ArcLur, with help from DaB0ss' guide. It spawned in Constantino and Ray and recruited them as bodyguards.

They spawned fine, but somehow the missioncleanup thing would occur 3 seconds after I spawned in.

Often times people will sign up just to get access to downloads or something, then they may introduce them selves thinking they will stay longer but then disappear, because of this they may only come on the site 1-5 times. We should try to add them on skype/xfire/steam when a new person joins and stick with them until they decide they want to stay on bully board.

Such as me :D

also @newboi12, I don't think that will happen, it is a sandbox game that still has potential to be modded and still remain fun. We active modders just have to continue doing good. Look at the old GTA games, they are even older and their modding communitys are huge.

The thing is that plenty of games are still alive. GTA San Andreas is very popular in the modding area, along with the Manhunt Forums.
I get about 30 - 40 thousand views per month on my Bully videos, along with about 150 - 200 subscribers. I'd say that the fanbase is still very much alive. The only problem is having them find us.
Most people who played Bully did enjoy it, but never really bothered to join a forum.

What we've got to do is promote the forum more. I'm currently admin on a Bullworth Academy page with over 9000 likes.
I promoted BullyMods there, but never Bully-Board. I think we could easily get a few newbies here easily if we just tried a bit.

Super Mod 3 also still gets active downloads all the time (Which is surprising as hell to me tbh xD)
I'd say at least 100 downloads weekly, and at the moment it's total is 6198 downloads.

I got a new fighting mod coming along which should be pretty fun... hopefully people will be interested in that. If that doesn't do it then some mission mods which I hope to create soon may.

That's a shame. Still we got about 60+ likes on a picture of Jimmy I threw together in 3ds Max, so there's still some sort of activity going on.
And I'd imagine that Likenationing your page up to almost 10k likes would take forever, unless you'd invest money in it. In which case, he could have just simply paid Facebook to get promoted like any other popular page.

The thing is that modding isn't alive as it used to be. People love to wait for and download mods, but never attempt them themselves.
Lua is done via Notepad, has to be compiled and added into the game manually via IMGTool. That pretty much adds up enough to scare most newbies away.

Mick, aren't you gonna chip in with your "LOOOOL."-post?

Not really, you can simplify the process into a batch file to do it all for you if you use the right IMG tool. I'm surprised so many people overlook this. Make a batch file that uses LuaC to compile your script, then uses Mad's IMG tool to delete the old script (Such as ArcRace1.lur for example) in the Scripts.img, then add the new one. Maybe I'll make some tutorial topic about this, it seems pretty simple to me honestly but I think it will help a lot to share with the other modders. For me all I do is edit in notepad, then run the batch file (The batch file executes in under a fraction of a second) then the script is in-game.

Also at what you said, there is a new modder that is more interested in making mods themselves. 明日香.

Of course there is. And I agree with you.
But most people who are new to modding dislike the idea of having to learn a new language. And they often feel like the code looks like a big mess.

My first thought when learning Lua before it was introduced to the public was "Oh wow. Really? This is what it looks like?".
I'll be attempting Lua tutorials again soon. Anyone who wants to chip in and help me out with those tutorials is welcome to do so.
Either PM me here or just message me on my xfire or personal skype.

Considering that he is going through puberty,  probably.

I'll begin working on a B-B Promo once I get home.

No idea.
Maybe just a simple tutorial on how to make a small fighting sequence.

It's far from dead.  People are just too shy to speak around here its only rare we get like a new person every 1-2 months. Then they disappear or retire from modding
Most newbies mod Lua for a short period of time, then they'd usually quit about 1 - 2 months after. For example, I met this person his name was Hardik Sharma. He added me on Skype, and I sent him c00l's Lua tutorial, then he read the entire thing in 1 night. He thought he was the king of bully modding. After 3 - 4 weeks he added DaBOSS on Xfire, and talked to him a lot. Now he doesn't make mods anymore.

Newbies for ya'

It's difficult to keep them close, but I think we could all get a good amount of them to stay if we put enough effort into it.
This is something that Biblo-Techa could've done but never even attempted. Instead, it was more of an individual thing to either ignore or help the newbies.

Sadly, Biblo-Techa is no more, so it won't matter now.

Biblio Techa is still on, and is led by DaBOSS now.
Idk whats in plan, but we need a big restart and set up.

Normal modders like me cant help.  Only Biblio techa!

Lol.

Why not? Just because you are not in a team doesn't mean you can't give a hand.
Title: Re: Is Bully Modding dying?

What i meant with that text.

Everyone says like  "Biblio techa is gone now, we cant help" "bilbio techa is not active anymore, we cant help you." (examples) When it comes to helping people with modding.  And i dont like that at all.  Yes biblio techa might know Lua better than me. But modders that are not in biblio techa can help too.

Thats what im trying to say.
Title: Re: Is Bully Modding dying?

Biblio-Techa won't release any mods though.
It has always been about wearing a badge that represents an elite group of modders, yet drama always occurs or someone quits modding.

Helping people out is more of an individual thing. Some of us have taken others under our wings and taught them everything we know.

I got something up my sleeve.
Since Mad is propably gone, and didnt do what he wanted to do before he left, i will be doing it for him.
Hopefully it will hype up modding for a little longer.

Like I said before it isn't the point of the modding community dying it is just that no one wants to go on NotePad++ and make up a mod. Yes to us it may seem pretty easy to write down one or two codes. Could you imagine learning lua for the first time and looking at this
Code: [Select]
MissionSetup = function()
  AreaTransitionXYZ(0,270,-110,6)
  F_SetupWeapons()
end

function MissionCleanup()

end

function F_SetupWeapons()
  table.insert(weapons,{name = "Apple",model = 310})
  table.insert(weapons,{name = "Banana",model = 358})
  table.insert(weapons,{name = "Baseball",model = 302})
  table.insert(weapons,{name = "Basket Ball",model = 381})
  table.insert(weapons,{name = "Bat",model = 300})
  table.insert(weapons,{name = "Big Firework",model = 397})
  table.insert(weapons,{name = "Books 1",model = 405})
  table.insert(weapons,{name = "Books 2",model = 413})

I wouldn't be able to even grasp what in the world any of this meant it would make me quit the same day. It is making everything look usable and step by step that allows others to stay. I started modding not to long ago but I started with Lua first then looked at how to mod the ide.img it didn't take me that long to change a style or stats because it just seemed less stressful then making a whole script because everything is written. We could try to implement a pre made lua script with settings and all made just allowing them to change some settings and characters where they spawn and all.  I would abandon modding if I saw this
Code: [Select]
PedCreateXYZ(Edgar, 727.1403, 567.7603, 654.7078)It gets people nervous and afraid to ask for help when they see something like this but if it is already put down and made they will just ask what to fix? Then sooner or later they will be able to create their own mods and have an easier setup and oneness with lua modding just my suggestion and opinion. I think it would work and bring tons of modders in.

SWEGTA's Ultimate Pasta does that.

Also if someone does leave just from that script, they must be impatient. It's really not that hard once you get the hang of it.

Here's a few tools that can be used for beginning modding.
http://bullymods.net/downloads.php?cat_id=2 (http://bullymods.net/downloads.php?cat_id=2)

I'd strongly recommend that you get Lua Developer.
It's pretty much, right click, select something and boom. You've got another piece of code that you can go through and memorize.

Personally, I prefer to write codes in notepad++ without any training wheels *badass*.
But I wouldn't blame anyone for giving the program a shot. It's still a WIP though.

That tool is pretty useful but I'd rather stick to the NotePad++ just my point of view. What I meant was something like this

Code: [Select]
Wait(2000)
TextPrintString("LostInSpace Aka AlphaTECH: Hello my name is LostInSpace.", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("Today I will be explaining how to mod bully lua style.", 4, 1)
  Wait(4000)
TextPrintString("For a start up the first thing we need to do is spawn a ped.", 4, 1)
  Wait(4000)
  TextPrintString("You would start by using : Darby = PedCreateXYZ(37, l_1_0+1, l_1_1+1, l_1_2+1).", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("This code spawns Darby right beside Jimmy.", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("As you can see Darby is spawned and is registered as an NPC.", 4, 1)
  Wait(2000)
  Darby = PedCreateXYZ(37, l_1_0+1, l_1_1+1, l_1_2+1)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("Next thing will do is make Darby attack which is pretty simple.", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
  TextPrintString("You make ped's attack using this code PedAttackPlayer(Darby, gPlayer,1).", 4, 1)
  Wait(2000)
  PedAttackPlayer(Darby, gPlayer,1)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("This code allows Darby to attack but depending on the chapter he might be friendly.", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("So even if he attacks, if it is chapter 5 he wont be able to hit you.", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("This is caused by the script telling the game that he has 100% respect.", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("This code here is used to removed the friendly code .", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
  TextPrintString("PedSetPedToTypeAttitude(Darby, 13, 0).", 4, 1)
  Wait(2000)
  PedSetPedToTypeAttitude(Darby, 13, 0)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("As you can see Darby is now attacking and htting the player at once.", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("To Spawn a boss fight is pretty simple as he is now attacking and all the same.", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("I almost forgot to show you how to add health to a ped PedSetHealth(Darby, 1000).", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("This overrides the health used in Pedstats you can set it to pretty much anything.", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("To delete a ped is pretty simple as used in missions.", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
  TextPrintString("PedDelete(Darby).", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("This code only deletes the peds you spawn no others.", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
  PedDelete(Darby)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("So to create a boss fighting sequence you use the same codes used before.", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
  Darby = PedCreateXYZ(37, l_1_0+1, l_1_1+1, l_1_2+1)
  PedSetPedToTypeAttitude(Darby, 13, 0)
  PedAttackPlayer(Darby, gPlayer,1)
  PedFaceObjectNow(Darby, gPlayer, 3)
  Wait(10000)
TextPrintString("Also to make a ped face the player like in missions use this code PedFaceObjectNow(Darby, gPlayer, 3).", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("PedShowHealthBar(Darby, true, "N_Darby", true) used to show health bars.", 4, 1)
  Wait(5000)
  PedShowHealthBar(Darby, true, "N_Darby", true)
  Wait(5000)
TextPrintString("VERY IMPORTANT bHealthBarShown = true NEVER FORGET THIS CODE IT SPAWNS THE HEALTH BAR ON TOP OF THE SCREEN.", 4, 1)
  Wait(10000)
  PedSetAITree(Darby, "/Global/DarbyAI", "Act/AI/AI_DARBY_2_B.act")
TextPrintString("PedSetAITree(Darby, "/Global/DarbyAI", "Act/AI/AI_DARBY_2_B.act") This is his AI used to spawn his boss style.", 4, 1)
  Wait(10000)
  TextPrintString("Last but not least the music! SoundPlayStream("MS_DishonorableFight.rsm", 0.7)", 4, 1)
  Wait(10000)
TextPrintString("Used as a single running track and runs no matter if a ped is dead or alive", 4, 1)
  Wait(10000)
  TextPrintString("SoundPlayInteractiveStream("MS_RunningLow.rsm", MUSIC_DEFAULT_VOLUME)No Action", 4, 1)
  Wait(10000)
  TextPrintString("SoundSetMidIntensityStream("MS_RunningMid.rsm", MUSIC_DEFAULT_VOLUME)Riding Bikes", 4, 1)
  Wait(10000)
  TextPrintString("SoundSetHighIntensityStream("MS_SearchingHigh.rsm", MUSIC_DEFAULT_VOLUME)Fighting", 4, 1)
  Wait(10000)
TextPrintString("Enjoy the rest of the fight and to disable the prefects and cops use this code DisablePunishmentSystem(true) ", 4, 1)
  DisablePunishmentSystem(true)

Much more easier to learn from this then anything running in real time and you can read and watch what happens step by step.

True. Personally, I don't know anything about Lua, the only computer language I've ever known is Visual Basic.net using Visual studio. It was hard at first, but when I understood it, it wasn't very hard, and now even though I don't know Lua, I can conclude the meanings of some of the codes written in this page. Coding and programming isn't hard, it just needs patience. I learned ONLY the BASICS of Visual Basic in about 9 MONTHS. This was the time I became somewhat of a moderate visual basic programmer.

I learned the basics of C++ in under a week. ROFL I guess I'm just a fast learner...

Once you know one language the others are pretty easy, it's just getting the new syntax down since you already know how programming/scripting works. If you choose the hardest one first, it may be best because then everything else will be simple and easier. (I didn't do that but just an idea)

Tables aren't too complicated to work with, unless it's new to you. Tables always used to seem like a load of crap when I first started, now they can actually save time, and also can be very useful. And it's much easier for making a menu.
Setting up a Lua file isn't very complicated, just put something like this:
Code: [Select]
MissionSetup = function()
  AreaTransitionXYZ(0,270,-110,7)
  PlayerSetHealth(1000)
end

MissionCleanup = function()
end

main = function()
  repeat
  Wait(0)
  until not Alive
end

That's a very basic code, and is now ready for tweaks.

I doubt if Boss is a Shop Teacher.

Tables are simple, they are just multiple values in a single variable so you dont have to make 100 seperate variables and have it be a pain in the ass. Also because of the way you access an element in a table it helps a lot because there can be a variable to keep track of where in the table you are to for example make a menu. Tables can go far past menus too though, I use them in mission scripts to track all spawned enemies. Also speaking of missions... I got a lot coming up :D

Exactly. I made the mistake of using a bunch of variables in the animations mod. (http://www.bully-board.com/Smileys/gtas/tongue.gif.pagespeed.ce.8miYGu9Gxr.gif)

I am happy to announce that I am now back to modding and no longer in retirement. Things are starting to in my favor now so I am sticking around and back to work on the PSMM which is currently being assembled in a "final state of code' and will likely be in testing stages in a week or two tops.

Maybe now we can get the Biblio-Techa team together and make something big.

Whats bigger then custom missions/stories?
Perhaps we could use The creativity of me and SWEGTA, the coding skills of DaBOSS, And Mad, along with me and SWEGTA, Walters skins, Lemons action nodes and animation knowledge and combine it into a custom story.
