Anyone?
-
aye I do. Just tell me what you need and I will explain how to edit it and what each thing means.
-
Hey man, I have edited it, and if u want to make all the cliques fight eachother change all of the words to "Abhor" if it dosen't work let me know, I have had some fun chaning the attidude file :)
Abhor pretty much means everyone will insult eachother, this will most likely lead to fighting, but the fact that they will fight is completely random unless u change there stuff in "Pedstats"
Oh and im sure u know how to get to the "Attidude file" if not open file location go to config/dat/Attidude :D
If u want an even more detailed description Just ask!
-
Would you know how to make certain cliques dislike the player because I am playing as a prep and want the greasers to hate me and preps like me and other cliques 50% and dropouts 0%
-
I saw this but I dont remember what file it is
-
Whst does that file do?
This thing would help for the zombie mod. Just make everyone hate Jimmy.

I haven't tooled around with Attitude to know for sure, but:
I don't think Attitude controls the respect towards the player...besides maybe the Prefects. Attitude is mainly for the interactions of other cliques.

As I said above.
-
Attitude does control a lot actually and it also controls what the other cliques do when interacting directly with you like if you try starting a fight with another clique member for example or try insulting one at random....
Here is what you do when editing the attitudes file:
open the file up which is located in for x32 windows "c:\program files\Rockstar Games\Bully Scholarship Edition\Config\dat" or for x64 windows "c:\program files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Bully Scholarship Edition\Config\dat"
open it up in notepad for windows or notepad++ and you will see somthing that looks like the following:
# Attitudes of each faction to each other faction, students and the player
#
# Attitudes: Adore, Dig, Dispassionate, Averse, Abhor (c. ScriptEnums.h)

# Bully's
Dispassionate, Averse, Dispassionate, Averse, Dispassionate, Dispassionate, Averse, Dispassionate, Dispassionate, Dispassionate, Dispassionate, Adore, Adore
Adore - this means that said clique likes the clique in question or player to the point that they will be friendly no matter what.
Dig - This means that said clique will willingly come up to whichever clique that has this setting and willingly talk to them or whatnot without any interaction beforehand.
Dispassionate - This means that the clique will not really care about anything about another clique or player that has this setting. They will mostly run when attacked but sometimes attack depending on their fear settings in pedstats which is linked to this file.
Averse - This means that when insulted or attacked said clique will either insult you back or attack you back regardless and if their fear setting in pedstats is set to 0 which means that have no fear whatsoever....they will instantly become agressive towards their attacker or insulter.
Abhor - This means that they cannot stand the clique or player with this setting no matter what and will normally run screaming from you when insulted or attacked. They will also insult you when you try talking to them rather then insult them.
The attitudes are in this order...use the following example as a guide on what to edit for each faction:
Prefect, Nerd, Jock, Dropout, Greaser, Preppy, Student, Cop, Teacher, Townsperson, ShopKeep, Bully, Player

I think it should....just give it a try and see what happens. My bully file editor which will be updated soon will be supporting this file and all the other various .dat files so it will be even easier to edit everything.
-

Sorry, I don't know how, the Attidude file is the attitude (way they act) to others cliques, not the player. sorry!
-
NOTE: This has been moved to the Questions/Help board.
-
But maybe check in fractions.lur, i think that might be were u want to check.
-
where do u find fractions.lur?
-
Sorry for the late reply :(
Its in Scripts
-
Just a late reply here...
The attitude file does control the attitudes of the various factions towards not only eachother but the player as well. Just carefully look at my quick howto (post #7) and the last column for each faction is for the player. Just simply change that column for each faction you want to edit and make it however you wish according to the values that I described in my post...you should easily be able to make various factions hate, like or be neutral towards jimmy.
I will note tho that if you already completed the game and are at the endless summer stage....no amount of editing this file will change anything since it is overridden in endless summer. I will post soon a guide on how to override that.
