The release date in the UK is the same as in Europe. They're probably got it wrong. Or they HAVE changed the release date (which is unbelievable).

I reckon it comes out on the 25th. The official website won't have updated and retailers probabaly do have the game in stock but aren't allowed to sell it until 25th. But Play.com like to show you. Well, thats my thought anyway :D

On Rockstargames it says 27th and on Gamespot it says 25th... Hmmmm.... All Swedish sites say 27th and many english sites says 25th.... I don't know what to think.

Keith Vaz, Member of Parliament for Leicester East, called for a discussion of Rockstar Games' Bully (Canis Canem Edit in the UK) in today's Prime Minister's Question Time.
Vaz addressed Tony Blair in London's House of Commons, stating: "Last Thursday the British Board of Film Classification gave a 15 certificate [able to be purchased by persons 15 years and over] to a video game formerly called Bully. This game contains scenes of violence including players terrorising teachers and students, teachers being head butted, and the aggressive use of baseball bats. [UK retailer] Currys has banned this game. Given the link between video games and their propensity to encourage violence, that has been demonstrated in some research, will the Prime Minister convene a meeting of the stakeholders including the industry and parents' groups to discuss this issue? And will he accept this is not about adult censorship, this is about protecting our children?"
Blair admitted that he "hadn't seen the game himself," with one of his famous smiles, which caused laughter in the Commons. He answered Vaz by agreeing on a meeting to discuss the issues raised.
"I know that the Minister for Creative Industries and also the Minister responsible for the industry are very happy to meet with him and stakeholders to discuss it. It's obviously an important issue. I know there's a lot of concern about it. It is, I think, right to say that the video games industry, or certainly a very substantial section of it, have made significant strides and advances over the last few years, but he's quite right, it's important that's maintained," Blair said.
Some have dubbed Keith Vaz "the Jack Thompson of the UK" for his antigames stance and outspoken views on the topic of game content. He had previously called for a ban on another Rockstar title, Manhunt, on the grounds that the parents of murdered schoolboy Stefan Pakeerah believed that their son's killers had been influenced by the game.
As early as October 26 last year, Vaz voiced his concerns over Rockstar's latest game in Prime Minister's Question Time to Geoff Hoon, standing in for Tony Blair. He asked Hoon: "Does the leader of the house share my concern at the decision of Rockstar Games to publish a new game called Bully in which players use their on-screen persona to kick and punch other schoolchildren?" Hoon replied by rightly pointing out that since the game had not been submitted to the British Board of Film Classification for a rating, little was known about it. He said then that "the precise nature of its content--disturbing though it sounds--and the degree to which it might be considered harmful to children is not yet fully known."
Other items on the agenda of today's Prime Minister's Question Time included the withdrawal schedule for British troops in Iraq, waiting times for cancer patients in the National Health Service (NHS), and support and funding for victims of terrorist attacks.

i think the 25th in uk is only for the pre-order list, some online stores have a special limited list for pre-orders, if you get into this list right in time, you might get it earlier (on 26th), after the pre-order list is full, the release date will change from 25th to 27th or later, pre-orders are not always the same, some have limitations applied to it, others are just normal orders before the game's release, so the 25th might be such a limited thing, gta san andreas had such a limited pre-order list too and it went full in a really short time, months ago, before its release, .. also some stores might sell it before the 27th, some shops in germany did it with san andreas, but it was not absolutely legal

Hey, I'm new here but i have some info that might concern the release dates for England and Australlia.
Living in England myself I am really looking forward to BULLY coming out, so i want this to be true.
The planned release datea for BULLY is as follows:
GAME and other big game stores: 25th of October
Gamestation and other small game stores: 27th October
I have an idea of why this may be. My cousin lives in America and he has the game (and enjoys teasing me over it too) and he says it is bloody brilliant. He hasn't given me any info on the game but been in the 'Trading-Goods' buisness he gets alot of gossip.
I don't know if this is true, but Rockstar (my cousin has heard) have produced early copies of the game for all the major game stores in the UK and Australlia. Thus, causing GAME and other large stores to get BULLY a few days ahead of other small stores (Gamestation ect).
Sadly, I don't know if this will apply to Australlia, there are alot of rumors about it coming out on the 26th there.
Sorry if this is in-accurate or is proves to be wrong.

game is the uk part of ebgames (a preferred retailer for games), as you said above, with the big game stores, that's what it is and how it is, like i said before, "pre-release" is not always "pre-release", normal game stores will have it on 26th but can't sell it until 27th, but some do sell it already on 26th as they did with san andreas, but they weren't really allowed to, preferred online shops like ebgames, game, etc, might have the game on 25th (maybe 24th), so that it will arrive at their customers on 26th (maybe 25th), so this is a more exclusive (and limited) "pre-release", often limited to a special number of units available, for this there is a limited list, where customers can get in, if this list is full and with this closed, this "exclusive" pre-release will get a normal pre-release like all those other online stores have, which would be then sending it on 26th, arriving at customers on 27th (some others will send it not until 27th)
the annoying part on this is, that amazon in germany might send it not until 27th, which would mean that i will get it not until 28th
again in short what i wrote above:
normal shops: get it 26th, sell it officially 27th, some inofficially 26th
normal online shops: send it 26th, customers get it 27th (also some other online shops will send it not until 27th)
preferred online shops: send it 25th (maybe 24th), customers get it 26th (maybe 25th) (this "pre-release" is limited to a special number of units available, if this list is full / if these units are sold out, the other customers, who didn't get into this list, will get it then like all those others on 27th, only those who were in this list will get it earlier)

Hey, more news.
I went to GAME in The White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds (Near where I live :p) and i asked the man at the desk when the game was out. He said he'd go look it up on this computer so i said I'd wait.
Anyway to cut a VERY long story short, he came back and said that it was due for release between the 25th and the 27th. I asked what the chance was of the GAME managers bringing it out on the 25th and he said its very possible because alot of people are asking for it an Rockstar have already sent the shipment across.
Anyway. Eventually he said that, I quote; 'We will place the game on the shelves when we get it, thats all i can say'
Looks like GAME are getting it Supposedly on the 25th (Woopie!) but, they seem a little confused too.

Err, if it took a whole 4 days' time to arrive, everyone who pre-ordered it would still get it very early Friday.
5 days is the worst case scenario. I can imagine most people who pre-ordered it getting it by Wednesday. Well, if you got it from play.com.

He's saying that everyone who ordered the game online should have waited to buy it in the shops, because they could essentially get the game late now.
Thing is, the whole fuss about when the game is out in GAME and the like is just as confusing as when the game will arrive in the post for some people. I couldn't give ten flying fucks, I'm glad I ordered off play.com, who usually get stuff to you a few days early. :cool:

basically, i didn't pre-order it cosi knew da day it came out, i couldgo to game,hmv,nearly anywhere that sells games and get it like imagine the people at the royal mail wnet on strike 2dayand u might not get dagame 4 sumtime cos of the baklog. im a realist and it don't hurtto get ur money, get off ur bakside and go and get it. lmao
