college could definitely work, although rockstar don't really seem the type to do that just to avoid controversy as the article suggests
the other issue is whether it needs to be Jimmy as the protagonist again. sure, it's great to get a continuation of the story but the various GTA spinoffs and sequels all featured different playable characters and made that work very well. new characters offer a lot of potential;
a new student at Bullworth, but with a different personality to Jimmy
a new student at a different school nearby so there's some crossover characters and maybe a rivalry between the schools
a student from Bully 1 playing the same timeframe from a different angle, kind of like the GTA4 spinoffs
a different character at another school/college with some of the old Bullworth gang there

that's not to say that we shouldn't play Jimmy in the sequel, but that rockstar have a lot of options

PC, Steam version (bought it during the summer sale). so long as it's not going to turn out to be essential for a later mission I think I'll just continue without it, maybe I'll play through it again afterwards if I decide to try for 100% as I think I missed an optional mission during Halloween

Bully 1 Questions / skateboard bug

I got the skateboard as a reward from a very early mission but as soon as I got it, a girl walked up and gave me a task to escort her to the dorm and I never saw the skateboard again, at the time I assumed that it'd dropped, like a weapon, and that I'd be able to find or buy another later.
cut to a few chapters later I run into a mission that tells me to use the skateboard. I managed to complete it without it, but that caught me onto the fact that I was supposed to still have it, or have been able to obtain a new one. I did some reading up and it seems like it was supposed to be permanently in my inventory once obtained, but it isn't. it doesn't show up on the 'weapons' scrolling nor in the inventory on the menu (says 0/1) and it's not in the garage with the bikes either...
so I have two questions
is there any way to fix this bug? and is it likely to cause any problems if I can't?

I have a problem at the start of this mission. I go to the parking lot and the game tells me to equip my skateboard... which would be fine if I had a skateboard. edit: managed to complete the mission using a bike instead
