Chapter 4 / Jock Boss
« on: October 22, 2006, 12:01:49 PM »
Dodge the incoming footballs, then pick them off the ground and throw them back at Ted's defensive line. Hold the L-shoulder button while throwing the ball, to lock onto the defensive line. When the jocks run on the field, charging straight for you, block their advances and counterattack using your five-hit combo.  Most of the rushers will leave a can of Beam Cola, so look for them when your life is low.

Finally, when all the defensive line is broken, Ted will run off the field. Tackle Ted immediately to complete the mission.

Chapter 4 / The Big Game
« on: October 22, 2006, 12:00:54 PM »
Location: The Nerd's House
Reward: $25

Do the Cow dance! This is the last mission of Chapter IV and, as usual, there is an epic boss battle waiting for you. The Big Game is comprised of a series of minimissions, each started by talking to a Nerd Agent, indicated by yellow X on the map, around the school.

Oh, don't forget this crucial fact: The Cow Dance is your declaration of peace. Whenever the jocks or cheerleaders ask you to dance, obey their wishes and dance for them. Otherwise they'll come after you, assailing you for not listening. The Cow Dance can also be used when a mob is after you, calling for bloody murder in your name. Perform the Cow Dance, and you'll instantly placate them.

Nerd Agent: Fatty aka Algie
Mission: Piss in the cooler.

Nothing too hard. When you're in the Gym, find the cooler and defeat the two jocks. Then piss in the cooler.

Remember to look for the two Nerd agents behind the bleachers. All of these missions are straightforward.

Scatter marbles over the football field.
Create a sticky situation on the team benchers.
Swap Game Ball.
Switchbox on the field.
Change the text on the scoreboard.
Look for the control switch to the right of the scoreboard. Reference the pic for more information

Chapter 4 / Discretion Assured
« on: October 22, 2006, 12:00:05 PM »
Location: Gym

Jimmy, under a cloud of guilt, must takedown all of the naughty Mandy posters around the Academy, as well as the town.

At the Acadamy, take down two posters. But there is a problem: the Prefects

The worst thing you can do is to attract attention. Look out for Prefects and don't pick a fight. Looking at your radar, spray paint only when the Prefects aren't in your immediate vicinity.

After you spray paint the two posters at the Academy, ride a bike or skateboard to Yum Yum Market. Speed is a critical factor in this mission, and refilling your paint will save you a lot of time.

In the town, there are two tricky situations.

1. At the comic book store, against the wall in an alley, there are two townies staring at the poster. They will immediately fight you when you get close to them, which will draw the attention of the cops. Before you spray paint the poster, throw a firecracker at the two boys.

2. Earnest will periodically replace your spray paint with a fresh batch of posters. Again, speed is a critical factor, since if you're too slow, Earnest will cover-up all your hard work. If you ever see Earnest, beat him up. Earnest isn't a big problem if you're fast and efficient

Chapter 4 / Nice Outfit
« on: October 22, 2006, 11:59:06 AM »
Reward: Earned the Mascot Outfit

Travel to the football field and annoy the school mascot costume. And what's the best way to annoy the mascot? Slingshot the fool high above the trees.

Mascot Battle in the Pool
Fire your rockets. Fire your Spud Cannon. Throw your itching powder. Throw your Stink Bombs. Unload all your artillery on the mascot, and when you've depleted all your weapon resources, punch him into submission. Perform your 5-hit combo, then block immediately. Wait a second or two before attacking again. Repeat the combo.

Chapter 4 / Defender of the Castle
« on: October 22, 2006, 11:58:27 AM »
Location: The nerd's old house.
Reward: $25

Nerds rule, jocks drool. You must defend the Nerd's lair from the onslaught of the jocks. The mission, comprised of three different stages, is dependent on the amount of jocks you kill: if any of the jocks breaks through your defenses, you will fail the mission.

Defend the Gates
Nothing special, nothing difficult. Meet the jocks by (a) fighting where the jocks are running from, or (b) shooting from the hills. Defend the Gates is the exception to the rule: if a jock breaks through the gates, you won't fail the mission, but you'll move to the next segment, the Spud Cannon.

Spud Cannon
Now, if any of the jocks make it through your defenses, you will fail. Luckily, the cannon has unlimited ammo and is auto-fire. Find the path where the jocks are running from, and incessantly shoot at that point.

Chapter 4 / Paparazzi
« on: October 22, 2006, 11:57:46 AM »
Location: The nerd's old house.

"U.G.L.Y, you ain't go no alibi. You ugly! You ugly!"
Mandy, the head cheerleader, is such a naughty girl. Take inappropriate pics of her!

Run to the Girl's Dorm. Around the corner, to the right, climb the ladder up to the attic. Before approaching Mandy, who is in the girl's shower, hide in the closet until the old lady goes to the bottom floor. In the girl's bathroom, don't walk in the shower, but stand outside the bathroom and take a pic.

For the third and last picture, stand in front of her bedroom's door and snap the pic

Chapter 4 / Funhouse Fun
« on: October 22, 2006, 11:55:47 AM »
Your mission is to help escort the two nerds back to safety. Run, bike, or skateboard to the carnival funhouse, where a lot of fun and excitement awaits you.

Stuck? Get on table and push the book. A ladder will drop down, opening another portion of the Funhouse.

Hidden in the maze, the nerds are lost and need your help. Again. Roam through the maze and find Bucky and Fatty. Here are their locations, indicated by in-game radar screen caps

After you retrieve them, make your way to the middle, to exit the maze.
Bucky and Fatty are too scared to run through the corridor of evil robotic miners. Leave them behind, and run through the hallway, to the end. There, climb the ladder. Find the three jocks, each stationed behind a controller, take them out and turn off the controllers. With the controllers turned off, lead to nerds to safety, like Moses shepherding the Jews through the desert

Chapter 4 / Stronghold Assault
« on: October 22, 2006, 11:50:23 AM »
Location: The Library
Reward: The Spud gun

Ask the nerds about Earnest's whereabouts. Pummel them for information.

Jump over the gates. Along the path, the nerds are firing bottle rockets. Oohh, a new item! Take their Spud Gun once they're down.

Earnest and the Spud Cannon
Before you can enter through the guarded gate, Earnest, using the Spud Cannon, will do his best to stop your advances. The Spud Cannon hits hard and comes out in rapid bursts. Take cover behind the boulder, the pillars.

If you take a hit, there are a couple cans of Beam Cola around.

Here's your attack plan. Advance to the front, while using the pillars and rocks as cover. At the front of the gate, run to the right, to the corner. From the corner, the Spud Cannon can't reach you. It's basic geometry: the angle of the gun's trajectory can't reach you if you're directly below it...and it helps when there is a pillar in the path of the gun, which blocks the spuds.  Using your Spud gun, aim at the transformer from FPS view.Same deal as before. Your goal is to destroy the two panels alongside Earnest.

Head to the front. Hide behind a pillar, then run to the front when Earnest pauses his shooting spree. At the front, behind a pillar, select your slingshot and go into FPS mode. It takes three shots to destroy a panel.

Instead of using his canon, Earnest will throw a pack of firecrackers, which has an insane blast radius. The key to survival is to get outside of the blast radius.
Facing the Spud Cannon, go the outer left, where you'll be outside of his blast radius. Here, you'll circumvent all explosions. Standing here, use your slingshot to shoot down the panels.
Hide to the right, behind the farthest pillar from the cannon. Here, you can shoot -- while standing -- the panels, without fear of the spuds hitting you. Look at the screenshot below for further explanations.

Chapter 3 / Fighting Johnny Vincent
« on: October 22, 2006, 11:47:27 AM »
Here's something straight out of the movie Thunderdome. Around the perimeter, three of four snipers with slingshots will rain pellets at your head. Ignore Johnny and take out the snipers, first. While throwing firecrackers or firing your slingshot at them, constantly move left or right, to dodge their attacks and to dodge Johnny, too.

Taking a beating and losing life? Around the perimeter, in the wooden crates, several Beam Colas are available for your consumption. Drink them when your health is low.

Once the snipers are dealt with, it's time to take care of Johnny. Your best tactic is to circle-strafe around Johnny, while firing your slingshot Or, while facing Johnny, walk to the left, shoot some shots, then walk to the right and shoot again. Repeat the pattern. Don't forget to charge your shots for a power blast.

Chapter 3 / Rumble
« on: October 22, 2006, 11:46:26 AM »
Location: In New Coventry, under the bridge.
Reward: End of Chapter III.

It's time to takeover the greasers. Chase Peanut to an alley, then defeat the greasers. Avoid close melee attacks, since Peanut's boys are rather tough; you'll likely to injure yourself fatally if fighting them up close. Conserve your life by firing your slingshot at them. The best place to use your slingshot? Stand on the cart punctuated with an arrow pointing straight up, and fire your slingshot.

Chapter 3 / Tenements
« on: October 22, 2006, 11:45:42 AM »
Don't fight Norton up close, since his sledgehammer hits hard and takes a chunk of your life. Instead, run to the edge of the room and fire your slingshot from afar. He won't run after you; Norton is too preoccupied by his heavy sledgehammer to run.

Shoot him from afar, strafing and moving backwards
