All right everyone, the frenchie is back to give you a challenge : find how to keep standing after 2.00 AM ! I tried a lot of things, but many of them need a perfect timing. I tried to kiss a girl ; it doesn't work, Jimmy falls on the ground and the girl keeps kissing the air...
I had an idea : when you are in the funfair, the attractions are closing past a time, when you don't look at them... It would be hard, but maybe you can start a Go-Kart race, and even if you fall asleep on the road, it would be great to wake up on the circuit, right ?
I don't know, but there are sure some ways to do it. What I want you to do is just posting your ideas, even if you didn't test them. Have fun, we'll find it !

I've done it before! Jimmy stayed up until 2:03 A.M. This is how I did it: At 1:59 I made Jimmy go up to the door to the boys dorm and go in. Once inside the clock had just gone past 2:00 and Jimmy past out in front of the door.

But i thought if you try going into a shop and then start talkin' to someone...

OK, let's do the point. Hiding in a locker or in a trashcan doesn't work. And it seems the the attractions at the funfair close even if you look at them... Now let's try swimming or riding a bicycle.
I'm waiting to know at which time exactly the Go-Karts close, because maybe it can be long enough to reach 2:00 AM.

I have tried swimming or riding a bike for my own amusement before. When swimming at 2:00 A.M. the "Passed Out" image appears and the screen goes black, Jimmy will then wake up at the nearest medical center. As for bikes, scooters, Jimmy will fall forward and crash at 2:00 A.M.

I heard that the taking the school bus sets the clock 15 mins ahead. I wonder what happens if you take it at 1:59? Next time i can get to my game in going to try this.

Okay, let's take a bike, and wait somewhere high. At 1:59 let's be jumping from that high, to see what will happen.

I took the Bus from the Townies Save Warehouse at 1:59, let out at the School at 2:00, and passed out at 2:01............

That's it, all attractions at the funfair close at midnight... Is it possible to make a Go-Kart race during two minutes ? Just wondering.

My guess is that a go-kart race would not progress the clock at all.

I don't think it does. But I tried the bus trick and Jimmy passed out on the sidewalk at 2:02 AM.

I dont think theres any way to stay up anytime past 2:04. I tried climbing up to the top of the BMX place and jumping right before 2:00 but I only made it to 2:01. Im gonna see what happens if i go into the BMX park and do a backflip and see how long I last.

You could also go to the Spencer shipping warehouse. The storage racks are tall there.

Yeah, I've even done it, but it doesn't really make a difference. No matter where you make Jimmy jump from isn't tall enough to get past 2:02 A.M.

Would it be possible to use the Skateboard, Aka like getting the rubberband from the Theater roof..??
Or, could Jimmy jump the skateboard form the north bridge.? Or, The BMX building.?

You could do the theater roof or BMX building I suppose, but not city hall. The top has the railing around it, and also an "invisible wall", you know, the game programing thing that acts like a barrier

Yeah, OK....That's right.....I usually shoot the Spud Gun to find the Invisible Wall borders...

We had a thread on that....Some platforms you can make it over into the hobo yard with the bike...
Can't remember which, but it wasn't the PS2.....
EDIT....It was the Wii....Look on the topic "Get Into Mr. Grant's Yard" further down on this same section page...

If you made it into the hobo's yard, it's just that you could get OVER the invisible wall.

i do it! after a mission (glasshouse) hattrick is going to chasing me than he catch me and the clock is after 2:00 and the game is going t fouled and JIMMY is wallow the ground all day the ambulance didn't come for him. sorry for my bad english

I heard that if you fall asleep on top of a bike it will be on your head when you wake up.But havent got it to work yet.

It's probably a one time glitch or somebody trying to get attention. Where did you hear it from.

I've had that happen in a couple of situations...Once with the Go-Kart.....weird glitches.

The wierdest glitch I ever had on the Go-Kart was when Wade stole it. I tried to rip him out, but ended up merging Jimmy and Wade's bodies together. I had to wait until 2:00 so Jimmy could pass out.

I was trying to beat a greaser on the football field, as our two bodies merged too and Jimmy's arms began to make a kinda dance... Until 2:00 AM. Then the greaser got stuck in the wall.

I was just outside the school when it happened. About half way between the main entrance and the big bridge to Bullworth.

That's freaking wild....I've sen other characters stuck like that...Never Jimmy yet...
Sorta reminds me of the old "Martian Gothic" game I had for the PS1.....

ive styaed up till 2:01 kissing a girl but i timed it perfectly and havent been able ot redo it since.

Before the patch on 360 I got stuck to a trashcan once, I didn't even pass out. Nobody could knock me out either.

I remember when I first started playing the game, I read somewhere about someone who liked to "egg the girls' dorm at 3 am" and I got really excited. I thought you'd be able to stay up late once you beat it. ;D

and i once stayed awake until 2:05am its hard put possible

Anyhoo, you jump off that, Jimmy gets knocked out...So the Point is Moot.

Lol all your ways wont work the way to stay up past 2:00am is to go to the mission Final Showdown when running up jump from the nearest edge make sure it's low and not a tall edge when doing so you will end up on the bottom of the bell tower and the schools roof walk around for a few minutes and notice that the clock usually disappears. Jimmy during this mission and the mission Help Gary and the mission where you do an errand for the teacher are all ways to stay up before the time. Also the best way to stay up before 2:00am is to start the mission Halloween Jimmy instantly past the clock and their is no way to sleep he can stay up for long periods of time a weird glitch but it's fun during this mission the Dropouts have a city spawn point lol.

Staying up past 2am will actually very soon be a reality since I have figured out how it works. This is all controlled via a combo of timecycle and curfew code in the script files.
This tho will be some seriously heavy editing since about half of the script files need to be modified in order for this to work for the whole game. Mainly all of the mission scripts and only a few of those scripts are complete.

That's pretty cool. I would like to use some of the hacks for the PS2 but I can't be bothered to do that.
