That's it, I share your opinion there.

Pretty much agreeing with earlier posts here. Anything that can kill someone, has no place in any Bully game.

I like anything that will cause mischief. Once death occurs, a certain line has been crossed.

Exactly. It's a schoolyard setting, not GTA.

Schoolyards are not meant for brutality. You don't see kids stabbing eachother, shooting, running over pedestrians, killing for hire....

I don't think knives should be used in combat, but I like the idea of usuing them as a tool for missions.  Hell, they let Jimmy and Zoe use a bolt cutter in that Mr. Burton mission and it was never used to harm anyone....except Mr. Burton when he was covered in shit.

Using weapons to cause harm is one thing, but causing harm with them is something else.

Yes, I'd be fine if weapons were used ONLY to complete missions.

Fireworks have been a basic school prank. Knives are not. Thats why I went with paintball and BB's. They aren't meant for killing. They could make perfect Bully mischief.

But knives and machete is not intended as a lethal weapon, just to make a quick knockout.
Also, a machete slash is as injurious as a blast by large firecrackers like Volcano2000 on Bully 1 or real life M-80

That's it, weapons for missions only. I agree with that all.

But, Jenkem', listen, a machete actually CUTS. Cutting on an arm, for example, means that the flesh is separated in two parts, if I can say so. The time for it to be recovered is long, very long sometimes.

Depending where the cut is and how deep it is will determine if the person bleeds out as well. Bleed out>>Death

What I'd like to see is Melee Weapons that could be carried in your inventory.
