Btw 5-07 is an unused cutscene (opening cutscene of bustin in part 2 found by gman) and 6-02B is used after you rescue Russell from the meat factory.

Thanks! Later I'm gonna experiment with the other cutscenes. And I believe 6-02B was not part of the beta. I think it is still in playable story. But yes, 5-07 is interesting. 4-B1B and 4-B1C are  also unused. I would think they took place during the boss fight with Earnest in the observatory. Maybe you only shot down 2 of those ledge things. and each time you did, it played those. :D

I would imagine that by that time in the story, he would have at least "heard about him", even if they had never met.

Good point, Chuck. Because there is a point in Bustin' In part II where Jimmy speaks to Zoe. And he mentions Edgar, before they have ever met in the story.

I talked this with DahCobra33 the other day. Rockstar screwed up or they made several changes to the chapter 5 storyline (and missions) because Edgar is never mentioned before, however Jimmy seems to know his name and who he is.

I believe that bustin in part I and II were 2 separate missions (and is possible that had different names) because the "planning an attack on Edgar" cutscene is the opening cutscene of bustin in part II, but in the final version of the game you start part II as soon as you finish part I.
Btw bustin in part II script name is "5_07a" rather than "5_07" so it's possible that the mission was different.

But still,B.I:Part 1 was probably gonna be larger(I think),and maybe some Townie would mention Edgar or something like that...Or Zoe,telling who's Edgar,and then Jimmy went to Pete and that's where the cutscene plays.

The cut scene spawns the map even though the objects needed are not there or there is a block. Meaning if we could use a in school cut scene on the final showdown we could see the third floor(as it spawns on the final mission.)
