The Laws of Bullsworth
« on: November 20, 2010, 09:25:31 PM »
I was playing Bully, and I noticed that some laws are different that ours. Like there are no alchohol laws, because I stole that homeless guy under the bridge's scotch, and I went up to a cop, and talked to him and he didn't do anything.

What are some others you can think of?

They obviously have different laws about assault on an officer.  In real life you would get prison time for assaulting an officer, but they just bring Jimmy to the station and let him out.

They must also have different laws for driving.  If someone gets hit by a car, the driver doesn't get slapped with a moving violation.

If you kick the head master in the nuts, you won't do a 3 minute punishment.

Shooting people with a weapon (Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Deadly Weapon), is no penality at all if Jimmy just waits out the trouble meter.

A lack of speed-limit signs, a true road heaven to me.

The cops have Jimmy get an Obstruction to Authority if he randomly walks before their car.

I just reallized how come the prefects don't just bust them later, because they know he did it, because when I hid in the trash can, one of the prefects said something along the lines of "I'll get you later Hopkins" so if they know he did it why don't they get him later, or pull him out of class or something?

^ I wondered alot about that too. And then I found a reason for it... Like, they have too much work to take care of that, or they don't remember you... Not very convincing for sure. In the next Bully you should get good/bad reputation from the cliques AND from the school staff, that you could make better by mowing the lawn or busting criminals...

maybe a red dead redemption style thing, where you can wear a disguise your reputation will not chance, but if you don't it changes how people think about you.

Actually, what I hate about Red Dead Redemption is that if you're in the middle of nowhere and you kill someone, you're wanted. -.-

That's stupid.  Make it real at least. The old wild west was where a person could go around killing whoever he wanted, and never get wanted.  Where's the evidence ?  No ballistics, no forrenicis, not even any fingerprint ID until 1893.

The Prefects in the Academy don't possess the eyesight to see too far away obviously. I wonder why they were put as Prefects in the first place.
