I haven't watched it yet, But I thought I'd post it here for anyone interested.

Hahah that's amazing! I'm definitely going to watch all of that sometime soon. Thanks man.

I ain't going to watch it, but that impressive. I'm guessing that's just the main missions to.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Dave on March 15, 2011, 08:00:05 PM
Probably. They couldn't do it 100% or all the side missions in that short amount of time.

I could, I'm just that damn good Dave.

Haha, oh I'm sure you could Snake. I hate those cut-scenes that you can't skip over while trying to go through it fast.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Crazy Snake on March 15, 2011, 08:13:51 PM
I hate that in any game, especially if you've played through it a million times. I just want to plat it this time, and not watch anything.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Dave on March 15, 2011, 08:16:38 PM
Sometimes I do a quick run-through where I watch everything, just to refresh my memory.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Crazy Snake on March 15, 2011, 08:18:31 PM
If I do that I just play through it again. I like going through the levels as fast as I can sometimes though. That's best done with some kind of shooter though.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Dave on March 15, 2011, 08:23:16 PM
I know what you mean. You need to get things done as fast as possible. I hate it when you get a shitload done, and you don't save and it freezes or something...

One time the power went out while I was just about to save a day's worth of completed missions.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Crazy Snake on March 15, 2011, 08:27:09 PM
I've never had many freezing problems with games, at least until now. Seems like more and more games are being shipped with big problems in them.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Dave on March 15, 2011, 08:28:39 PM
I know. NONE of my N64 cartridges have had any problems.

I <3 N64.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Crazy Snake on March 15, 2011, 08:34:25 PM
First time I had a freeze was with the PS1. It was always the disk if it did happen.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Dave on March 15, 2011, 08:35:38 PM
I hate disks. They're too unstable for me and too easy to damage.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Crazy Snake on March 15, 2011, 08:41:08 PM
They are easy to damage, but they hold more space on them.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Dave on March 15, 2011, 08:45:10 PM
I wish they'd come up with a better way. Disks that you couldn't crack if you tried.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Crazy Snake on March 15, 2011, 08:47:25 PM
I'm sure disk will be around for awhile to come.

Steel disks. There ya go.

If one takes care of their discs (handle them with care, keep in case when not in use, remember they are fragile) there usually isn't any problems.

The old-style cartridges that Dave mentions are really ROM packs, and don't have a surface to 'scratch'.....They were made of thicker plastic and could hold up to a lot of abuse.  More expensive to manufacture than a thin plastic disc though, and as you know, it's all about cheapness, not quality, here in the good ole USA.

As far as saving....I do that after every mission....Just in case....

Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Dave on March 16, 2011, 07:06:54 AM
If you end one right where another begins, I usually won't go all the way back just to save. But I should.

Haha, oh I'm sure you could Snake. I hate those cut-scenes that you can't skip over while trying to go through it fast.

^^ I hate in certain games how I got to watch the credits all the way through.

And for discs, I believe they made d-skins. Some sort of a thin transparent skin you put on your discs to prevent scratches and other damage. The skin gets scrtached or damaged, so you take it off and apply a new one. This skin is supposed to be completely clear so the disc can be read and durable enough to protect the disc. I'm still trying to find them. Not one store has 'em. I might google this shit. I've been looking for a long time now.

Ah, That's something I love about this forum.
Someone could post something like "Pictures of my pussy"(Your choice on the meaning) and the topic would suddenly become about Fish, Tacos or something as random as that.

*cough* Above wasn't meant badly, I do love it. It's an interesting change from other forums.

Anyway, I watched the first 8 parts last night.

.. I can't help but think the guy may be cheating, He seems to be running waaay too fast.
I know you can tap the "Run" button to go faster, But not that fast.
Also, He(or she) somehow downed the Bullies with a weird swinging move with the bat.
I've played the game quite a bit(and a few times through), And I'm quite certain you can't do that.

.. Unless it's some weird PC Only feature.

.. Also, The PC version seems to be lacking quite a few voice clips.

It is true. Topics can change suddenly to something totally unrelated to the original one. To our luck that's been allowed here. I'm kinda convinced this is the only forum that does. Any other places will go extreme and ban you for going off topic once.

Actually, I know of one other forum.
Even though it's pretty active, It's only by two people.

That is, They have/had about 20 members, But only two are actually active.

It's actually better than it sounds.

Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Weremuffin on March 20, 2011, 04:05:13 PM
They made a game?
I'm going to have to look into this. Even though the latest movies have been a little too gorey to be good.

Anyway, It's from a (fantastic)TV Series called Doctor Who.

The statue you see is a Weeping Angel.
They only move when you're not looking.
And they're everywhere.

They don't kill you, They send you back in time and live off your remaining life while you're trapped in the far past.
Or they snap your neck and use your voice to lure other people to them.

Is Saw really typed in all caps? Not that (http://i.imgur.com/z4XpF.jpg) kind of cap. Or that (http://i.imgur.com/s3m1s.gif) kind.

I looked it up, It's on the 360, PS3 and Windows.
Hm. Licensed games are rarely good, So I'll add it to my rental queue.

edit: Konami?!
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49

Konami did the Silent Hill series.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Weremuffin on March 20, 2011, 04:42:36 PM
I know who Konami is, I was just surprised to see they did it.
From the Wiki article for the game, It will apparently be a "Spiritual Successor" to Silent Hill.

.. They should make a Lifeline sequel.
.. And I should actually finish it sometime soon.

There is actually 2 saw games, although I'm not sure if the second has came out yet. I didn't like the movies so I knew I wouldn't like the games.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: King Cobra on March 21, 2011, 12:25:34 AM
I never really watched saw. I'm just surprised such a game slipped by the JT crew without getting hell. Its amazing how war games get banned but games like saw just go right to the shelves without trouble.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Crazy Snake on March 21, 2011, 12:31:30 AM
They weren't really popular either. You'll notice JT usually goes after AAA titles, only really big names mostly. Or something he'll think will bring in a lot of money.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: King Cobra on March 21, 2011, 12:38:11 AM
He hits games he knows everyone will like. He's a miserable waste of life. He's got supporters just like him who try to ban games. They need to die off. Their funerals will be when we all celebrate. That will be the one moment in their lives that they ever did the gaming community any good.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Crazy Snake on March 21, 2011, 12:40:55 AM
Everyone needs something to complain about I guess. I can understand about trying to make it harder for young kids to get there hands on games. But to try and ban something is just wrong, especially when movies are showing the same thing.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: King Cobra on March 21, 2011, 12:59:59 AM
The bad thing about banning games is that once its officially banned, everyone loses that game. Maybe those poor concerned parents are happy now but I'm pissed. If they don't want the kid to have games, that's their problem. They have no need to ban games. They need to stop blaming developers for issues their kids have and maybe take a look in the mirror.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Weremuffin on March 21, 2011, 12:04:30 PM
I've seen all the movies.
Honestly, I liked the second one best.

Speaking of banned games, What if Bully 2 ends up being a crossover with Manhunt, Grand Theft Auto and Postal?

Jimmy could go around using Cats as Silencers while driving a Monster Truck around.

Weremuffin, go work for Rockstar and incorporate that into some game.

Fun idea, But I think It'd be simpler to just make a mod for one of the games.

Maybe it could have a Headcrab Launcher.
Instant Zombies, Just add Headcrab.

Good luck getting it to the shelves. You'd be priority target for the JT crew.
Didn't he die awhile back?

I wish. I know he was barred from his job, which gave developers some freedom. That I hear of he's gonna be coming back. Even without him though there's always more assholes like him who believe in the same shit. If JT was the only game hater out there I wouldn't really care.

He ain't been able to stop any game yet, and I don't believe he ever will. Until games get even more realistic, then he might have a chance.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49

That's the objective of the entire gaming industry! All gamers want to see that! When he sees a game as too realistic that means its great to our standards.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Crazy Snake on March 26, 2011, 09:17:39 PM
Nothings nowhere realistic as of now, I mean we have made a great effort in graphics. But it's going to get to a point where something like GTA could be pulled off and make you feel like your exactly in it, and could interact with everyone.

Things like Xbox, Wii, and PS3 will be around for a long time. But I do see a virtual sphere coming in the future. Actually being IN the game is different from seeing it. Its like leaving reality and entering another world as another person.

I always thought of it being kind of fancy I guess. Anyone's house I got to has either beer or liquor that's it, maybe a little wine as well.

Wine is good. For some reason I absolutely HATE beer. I'm quite picky about my liquor as well.

Wine Sucks.  I tried to like it, I really did.  Just didn't work out for me.

Liquor is POTENT. The place where people make their mistake is that they down it like water.

I do that, since I don't really like drinking I do it quick. Get the feeling faster, thing is it takes more for me to get drunk.

Speaking of drunk people....I saw one of the guys come out of bowling the other night....he always gets wasted. Well, he came over to the gas station down the street, rolled his window down and blew chunks EVERYWHERE!

I ain't never puked from any kind of drink yet. First time I got really drunk I drank a lot of Canadian Mist. The next morning I woke up with stomach pains and the shits for a week.

The funny thing with any drink is seeing how much people can handle. I see people talk shit all the time, then get plastered off a few drinks.

Also take in how much you weigh and such. The bigger you are the more it takes.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: King Cobra on April 04, 2011, 05:05:38 PM
True. The more you weigh the higher "capacity" you have. I've had my days where I went beyond that "capacity", and I'm at least 260 lbs.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49

I've went beyond mine as well plenty of times, so much that I didn't even remember the night before.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49

That's too much. I like when I can remember what happened. Not knowing what happened the previous night is some freaky shit.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: Crazy Snake on April 04, 2011, 05:22:34 PM
It surly is I try my best not to do it. It's not only freaky but I worry about it sometimes. especially when I was at a big party with a lot of people. I don't want to be 30 and some kid come knocking at my door.

Yeah. Everything out there is expensive. I used to live on south shore, but now I'm on the north. If you were to look you would see there's quite a difference in how the people are between the north and south shore. I prefer the south. People on the north don't know what fun is. I see kids around here who consider having a smoke and bullshitting their highlight of the day. We had fun on the south shore. That's where my friends are right now. I'm gonna have to go see them some day....
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49

So, the kids on the North Shore are dicks, and the kids on the South Shore are cool, Eh ?
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: King Cobra on April 07, 2011, 02:51:44 AM
Basically. The kids on the South Shore ARE cool while the kids on the North Shore THINK they're cool. The kids around here don't even do anything. Really lame. You can't even motivate them into doing something. All they want to to is walk around and bullshit. They consider that fun. Not me man....I need to be doing something. I'm not out for an evening stroll.

I was watching a show once about conspiracy theories. Supposedly there's intentions of building another facility inland towards the midwest states. People are opposing this due to the fact that this is where our meat and crops come from.

You know, with all the remote territory the U.S. owns, crap like that could be put elsewhere where it wouldn't be as great a risk to the public.
Title: Re: Bully completed in 2:49
Post by: King Cobra on April 07, 2011, 03:45:21 AM
I don't think we need any more major facilities in the U.S. than we have now. And I'm talking facilities in general. We have major facilities across the U.S. We don't need to keep adding more. The government always says how things won't go wrong....until they do. That's when they suddenly realize that maybe they shouldn't have done it in the first place. Only when you regret something will you really learn from it.

Personally, I don't think its a good idea we got involved with this whole Libya situation. We're alread fighting 2 fronts in Iraq and Afghanistan, and our army is stretched thin. We don't need a third one in Libya. Shit like that is what brings back the draft!

I'd be heading for Canada.  I never wanted to be in the military.  It seems that the US has spent the past 65 years fighting other nation's wars.  And to what end ?  A stalemate in Korea ?  A loss in Vietnam ?  Being mired in Iraq and Afghanistan for a decade ?

Were we a one-world government, this would make sense.  However, America has squandered it's wealth and power in the world by engaging in these side-wars.  We as a nation are weak now, unable to even take care of our own.  And we have given away our lifeblood for decades, to what end ?  So we may rot while others prosper at our expense ?

Our founding fathers said not to do certain things. Two of those things were make alliances and wage wars. We did it anyway. If we listened to our founding fathers in the beginning we might not be in the hole where we are now.

The hole gets deeper with each passing year.  And there is no way out now.  The hole is just too deep.

Once we were in there was never a way out. Now we just need to get it to where we stop digging.
