Considering that he is going through puberty,  probably.

I'll begin working on a B-B Promo once I get home.

No idea.
Maybe just a simple tutorial on how to make a small fighting sequence.

It's far from dead.  People are just too shy to speak around here its only rare we get like a new person every 1-2 months. Then they disappear or retire from modding
Most newbies mod Lua for a short period of time, then they'd usually quit about 1 - 2 months after. For example, I met this person his name was Hardik Sharma. He added me on Skype, and I sent him c00l's Lua tutorial, then he read the entire thing in 1 night. He thought he was the king of bully modding. After 3 - 4 weeks he added DaBOSS on Xfire, and talked to him a lot. Now he doesn't make mods anymore.

Newbies for ya'

It's difficult to keep them close, but I think we could all get a good amount of them to stay if we put enough effort into it.
This is something that Biblo-Techa could've done but never even attempted. Instead, it was more of an individual thing to either ignore or help the newbies.

Sadly, Biblo-Techa is no more, so it won't matter now.

Biblio Techa is still on, and is led by DaBOSS now.
Idk whats in plan, but we need a big restart and set up.

Why not? Just because you are not in a team doesn't mean you can't give a hand.

What i meant with that text.

Everyone says like  "Biblio techa is gone now, we cant help" "bilbio techa is not active anymore, we cant help you." (examples) When it comes to helping people with modding.  And i dont like that at all.  Yes biblio techa might know Lua better than me. But modders that are not in biblio techa can help too.

Thats what im trying to say.

Biblio-Techa won't release any mods though.
It has always been about wearing a badge that represents an elite group of modders, yet drama always occurs or someone quits modding.

Helping people out is more of an individual thing. Some of us have taken others under our wings and taught them everything we know.

I got something up my sleeve.
Since Mad is propably gone, and didnt do what he wanted to do before he left, i will be doing it for him.
Hopefully it will hype up modding for a little longer.

Like I said before it isn't the point of the modding community dying it is just that no one wants to go on NotePad++ and make up a mod. Yes to us it may seem pretty easy to write down one or two codes. Could you imagine learning lua for the first time and looking at this
Code: [Select]
MissionSetup = function()
  AreaTransitionXYZ(0,270,-110,6)
  F_SetupWeapons()
end

function MissionCleanup()

end

function F_SetupWeapons()
  table.insert(weapons,{name = "Apple",model = 310})
  table.insert(weapons,{name = "Banana",model = 358})
  table.insert(weapons,{name = "Baseball",model = 302})
  table.insert(weapons,{name = "Basket Ball",model = 381})
  table.insert(weapons,{name = "Bat",model = 300})
  table.insert(weapons,{name = "Big Firework",model = 397})
  table.insert(weapons,{name = "Books 1",model = 405})
  table.insert(weapons,{name = "Books 2",model = 413})

I wouldn't be able to even grasp what in the world any of this meant it would make me quit the same day. It is making everything look usable and step by step that allows others to stay. I started modding not to long ago but I started with Lua first then looked at how to mod the ide.img it didn't take me that long to change a style or stats because it just seemed less stressful then making a whole script because everything is written. We could try to implement a pre made lua script with settings and all made just allowing them to change some settings and characters where they spawn and all.  I would abandon modding if I saw this
Code: [Select]
PedCreateXYZ(Edgar, 727.1403, 567.7603, 654.7078)It gets people nervous and afraid to ask for help when they see something like this but if it is already put down and made they will just ask what to fix? Then sooner or later they will be able to create their own mods and have an easier setup and oneness with lua modding just my suggestion and opinion. I think it would work and bring tons of modders in.

SWEGTA's Ultimate Pasta does that.

Also if someone does leave just from that script, they must be impatient. It's really not that hard once you get the hang of it.

Here's a few tools that can be used for beginning modding.
http://bullymods.net/downloads.php?cat_id=2

I'd strongly recommend that you get Lua Developer.
It's pretty much, right click, select something and boom. You've got another piece of code that you can go through and memorize.

Personally, I prefer to write codes in notepad++ without any training wheels *badass*.
But I wouldn't blame anyone for giving the program a shot. It's still a WIP though.
