Title: Will Bully be banned in Aus?

Post by: DGAF on August 15, 2006, 08:21:54 AM: There was some talk of it being banned in Aus but that was a while back before anyone knew any details, i think it would be harsh to ban it but we'll just have to wait and see what rating it is.

If it gets a teen rating in most countries I think you'll get it,
But Aus might ban it from your anti Bully people in your Country as they roll over to anything :evil:

But I'm sure you could import it from New Zealand as they have the same region codes for your PS2 and there more relaxed about games and what they do!

Thanks for the posotive atitude, that helps me alot, even tho no one can trust game shop sales men, but all they do is get me shaky, by telling me theres no release date yet, but i think it will be banned, it just rattles me up lol. And pal is Aus ay?

BUt seriously, you cut a guys ear off in the game and talk into it, I saw it on gamespot.com. If your comparing the two........big mistake. Surprised they haven't jumped on that game to get it sunk.

Post by: djrussell on August 29, 2006, 05:13:45 AM: Yep - it's been rated M for Mature. Which basically means anyone can play it - but its recommended for 15+ audiences only. But not restricted.

And its not that Australia has a harsh stance on games or anything - its because Australia doesnt have an R rating for games. Therefore - any game that is classed as R is rejected.. thats why Reservoir Dogs was banned - it was found to be too violent for a MA rating.

I do hope Australia get's an R system in though - it will allow for games like Reservoir Dogs and Manhunt and other titles to be allowed entry (that is of cause - if no one objects and applies the pressure to have it banned).
