Title: Resident Evil//Other
Post by: Chrissy on January 31, 2007, 09:40:37 PM: Is anyone looking forward to the 'fifth' installment or Umbrella Chronicles? I know I am. [eee. the zombies run in 5!]

What other games are coming out later this year that you're definitely looking forward to?

(I did a search on these topics and didn't find anything that was really relevant, so I hope these questions weren't asked in wording much different than mine. :X)

I'm sort of looking forward ti Devil May Cry 4. Sort of. The storyline is supposed to be LOADS different, so until they release more on it, I'm a little on the 'eh' side.

Silent Hill Origins, forgot about that one, actually. Now I have something else to look forward to.

OH! I forget, Metal Gear Solid 4...

Holy crap, now I'm remembering a ton of games. Let me stop there, because I know I won't be able to afford any of them anywhere down the line. :(

Anyone noticed that the main character from RE 5 looks like Chris Redfield from RE 1?????

And i'm also waiting for Alan Wake, free-roam + horror... can't wait.

Actually, it's supposed to be Chris (I believe it was confirmed, not too sure) and he's my favorite RE character, so of course I'd be excited. :D

Ditto. I'm hoping she's our 'surprise' like Ada was in 4, although Ada really wasn't much of a surprise closer to the release date of 4 ....

Haha, my friend and I were talking about this earlier. We're going to move to the UK, work, save as much money as possible, come back to the States with it, and exchange it to get almost double what we made in the UK. We'll have that 360 [plus many other things] in no time.

Btw... have you played RE 4 pc version????? Crappiest port ever, you have to use the keyboard to aim, the lights and shadows suck, not to mention the low-res textures.

I'm sticking with my PS2 version :)

I own it for the PS2 and Gamecube. My RE collection is siiiicccckkkk.

I have a friend in NY, and when we call each other, if we get voicemail, we randomly leave dialogue from the game as the message.

We even had an inside joke about Chris meeting Rebecca, and made icons for it. XD

And yeah the dialogue was horrible in RE1.. they did a much better job with RE2 but, still some lame lines in there and over reactions. RE4 was the best all round - graphics, sound, dialogue - and it was the scariest IMO as well.. and it was about time they changed the bloody screen to third-person :)
