I'm gonna be getting my fishing license soon. I live just down the road from a harbor. I like fishing there. Now due to the age though I need a license. Fishing is one of my fun things.

Oh, thought you were talking about a driver's license for a moment there. Haha.

I haven't fished a lot. I remember doing it a few years back and that's it.

Once you reach a certain age you need a license to fish in salt water. Fresh water requires no license. I'm well over the age. I believe its 16. Might be 18. If you get caugt without a license you'll be fined. Fishing is something I do whenever possible. I've done it since I was 3.

I've heard fishing is pretty relaxing. I really don't remember it was so long since I've done it.

Its fun. I also do crab traps and dig for clams if I can. It depends on the location and the laws behind it. Some places don't allow shell fishing.

I got to get licenses as well, and that's for the lake.

I guess the rules with fresh water changed. A few years back we didn't need any license for fresh water fishing.

It's probably different with each state. People have had to get them for as long as I can remember.

I know that there was always the need of a license for salt water. I never needed one for fresh water.

I've never fished in salt water before, but I'd like to. It'd be interesting catching new things besides mainly catfish, trout, and bass most of the time.

I tend to catch snapper around here. I need to find some places for crab traps and clams too.

Do you eat what you catch? I'd love to catch some crab.

We do sometimes. Sometimes we let it go. Things like crab and clams we certainly will eat. Fish can be a pain in the ass to clean and cook, depending what fish you're dealing with, so we won't always keep them. Shellfish require much less effort.
