Used to be, on the old board, when you got to a 1,000 posts, you could pick your own designation to go under your on-line name, but don't know how that works now....

I think Hero member is the furthest for a regular member. We had different titles on the old board, I'm sure you remember.

I think there are only a handfull of people over 1,000 posts, amny of them no longer with us. I believe Marcus is still the top poster, followed by Chrissy, Chuck, someone whos name escapes me, and then....ME!

I still remember when I was a newbie. That's when the site wasn't changed yet. I think there might have been more members back then too. Don't you?

There were tons more. My god, there used to be so many that there were 1 or 2 minute gaps between most new posts.

That's what I thought. When the change occured, its like people just fell off the grid.

They were dropping like flies before the change, as if they saw the end coming and just ran. What they didn't know was that BB would rise again.

So it was more like a misinterpretation of BB's future.

I think they just saw the proverbial "writing on the wall". Some people left because the either got bored with the game and discussing it or had something come up in their life.

Oh I love to read the tales of the "old board." Too bad I'm too much of a newbie to even know what that is. I think many of the older users you guys knew, lost hope and decided there was no reason for them returning. And got tired of discussing like mentioned earlier.

I don't believe people shoukd give up on games. Even if you're the only person supporting it, at least that one person gives some hope. When there's nobody what's the point?

It just shows a developer that people still like and support their works. Seeing that ANYONE still supports their games will give a developer some inspiration.

IDK, Dave....I think that we were rescued just for the very reason that we....Well, the few of us you see....Were still posting here on the board. And Mike, Mercury, and I were relative latecomers to Bully Board. It was through them (and T-Bone & Bully Freak) that we got our post counts so high.
We were rsigned to losing BB in early April...Said our goodbyes, traded Emails, etc....Then, eleventh hour, got saved. and that was 1500 posts ago for me. A site needs members to stay alive. It's too bad some of the others have moved on, sure would have liked to get to know them. At least....We still have Chrissy.....

Most people had unfortunately flown the coop before the site was in danger of dissappearing. I had been lurking on the site for a few years and decided to join in June of 2009 so that I could post. I think everyone left because they just got tired of the game and moved on to something else. The select few of us are the die-hard fans.

In a way, Bully sorta ruined other games for me...It is the ultimate in what I was looking for. Fact is, I'm only on 2 gaming forums, and I post here 99% of the time. Part of that, I'm sure, is due to the cool people on the site here.

Same with me. It meets pretty much all my video game entertainment requirements that most games just can't capture the way Bully does.

Usually I play Bully when I play any game at all. I don't play games as much now that I have grown up and have other things to take care of. I think I'm a member of 4 forums at this time, most of my posts are here. Only one other forum I am on is related to games and I think I only have about 60 posts over there.

Since I started school in September, I haven't had all that much to play video games either. But I'll try to make time on a Saturday or Sunday. ;)

I *hate* Halo. CoD is losing its appeal to me. The only thing I still love is Treyarch's 'Nazi Zombies' deal. That's the only reason I'll be purchasing Black Ops.

Kinda feel like I'm the only one that likes a lot of other series, I play everything from Halo, MGS, GTA, Final Fantasy and so on.

Well I'm not only a huge fan of Bully, but of Rockstar Games as well. GTA is my favorite series overall, I also own and love the Warriors, both Manhunts, Max Payne 1&2, both RDR games. Been a fan of them since GTA2 and have been loyal sense.

With Manhunt I passes it up a first, tbh I thought Rockstar was crazy and figured they couldn't pull it off. Hell I was wrong.

I really liked both Manhunts equally, although I was a trifle pissed at how short MH2 turned out to be, and with no extras, as compared th MH1. Still awesome games, though.

There both good, although I did like Danny more than Cash, they made Cash out to be a more serious and mysterious kind of guy.

Well, Yeah....If you only play to Chapter 15, Personality Clash, you get the "Danny" ending. But if you play the 'Bonus' episode, Chapter 16, Release Therapy, you get the "Leo" ending.

Well if the person I was going with would have come over sooner we could have gotten tickets for $69 each and seen it in September. Now those tickets are sold out until next year and it's half a grand for 3 tickets for a show in January. I don't think she wants to spend $162 on a single ticket as much as I do.
