i had the the game screen go blank except for the lock and HUD i could still move around and use weapons though

It only happened once and it was on the games ondemand  xbox360 version

Xbox 360 you say... I've never had any big problems like that on my consoles. Other than the PS2, the slow rendering world. It was all void, and after a few minutes, the world loaded.
