Well, ive been playing around on SAMP, and MTA, and i thought, why doesnt someone make a multiplayer mod for Bully on PC? i would go around trying to find a PC version of it just to play it :P, would this even be possible?

I always thought it would be fun to have that on PS2. You could have a fight and choose which character you would want to be.

I was hoping it was gonna be fighting ever since the multiplayer was anounced for SE. I was disapointed.

Me too, and the classes are the worst aspect of the game, why would I want to play them with someone else?

Hell yeah, I like it. It should be played in cliques, meaning one player plays as one character and it's allied to other player in the same clique and fights other clique. Game mode includes Deathmatch, Capture The Object(Jock's ball, Nerd's hard disk, Greaser's car key, Bully's camera, Prep's trophy, and Townie's bong), Boss Duel, and Co-op Prefect Fight(all clique unite against authority). Prefect, cop, clique leader, and teacher seats are only available for senior players.

Hard thing is, finding people who accually play it on PC and would want it, it would be awsome, but Bully isnt the most known game around :\.

A few of my friends play those strategic games like civilization. They don't even know Bully existed until I spoke on it. Some people do know but would rather use a different platform (PS2). It may be worth the effort in our eyes but not in others, and I'm not sure that's enough.

I found a slight multiplayer option in the Scholarship Edition. It would be cool for more in the PS2 Bully or PC. Its a major question of whether people will use it or not. If we were to make a survey, it would probably be small.

Yeah. It's pretty much you can play a friend on different classes. Like whoever can dissect an animal the fastest wins. Not like, someone plays as Gary and the other as Jimmy.

Yeah, it wasn't any amazing stuff. I would hope for a free-roam multiplayer. I didn't even think this type existed for the Scolarship Edition. They should use a similar multiplayer to the one made for GTA: San Andreas, but there is no limit in distance. Two players who can go ANYWHERE the game provides. Then online you can join other sets of partners and all work as a team, or be competitive. And get rid of the split screen crap. I hate that. That's my view of Bully multiplayer.

I think they could of went all out with a mp on the game. You got all kinds of weapons to use, why not have free roam with friends as a lot of people would like. Also maybe a team knockout or something like that, there a lot of things that could of been done.

Or there should be FPS mod(converting Bully into a first-person shooter), to make the multiplayer mod much more awesome.

This game would be to different being a FPS. You'd miss a lot of the crazy stuff that goes on in the world.

Lol I was thinking exactly the same thing! When playing GTA:SA-MP it struck me...
And if you got to choose which character to play, only one person per student...we wouldn't want like 30 Sheldon's running around in a server. OR 30 prefects, man.

Not annoying at all, if the people had OBJECTIVES. It would be a clique war, so why not "Steal the Preps Trophies", etc... It's highly possible !

A multiplayer option for Bully. I'm trying to find how it would now be annoying. Just think about the missions ! Capture the flag, with side missions such as "Steal the Preps Trophies" - "Go urinate in the Jock's beverages"...

No no I meant since Sheldon is annoying in general it would be a nightmare imo if there were 30 copies of him on a server.
For some reason I wouldn't have liked it so much if you could be multiple characters (like... double Damons or something), but who knows, could be good. xD

If you mix in some "gain respect" gameplay. Let's say you're a Nerd and somehow gained 100% respect from the Jocks, then they wouldn't be able to attack you and you'd be free to go to like the gym and stuff xD
Or without it..... eternal clique war! That's fun too.

Online would be awesome. There is a gta San andreas, and vice city online mod, why not a bully online mod? I'd definitely play that.

Online multiplayer mod would be awesome. But I need to get a better knowledge of the modding capabilities of bully before I could try anything.

I have yet to see any modder besides NTAuthority actually write scripts that alter gameplay.
The G-man's knowledgeable on modding, but he seems to only alter codes in files, and not actually write them (or so he told me in one of his threads, IIRC).
I am going to be taking courses in programming soon enough, so maybe I'll learn how to actually write my own scripts, or hell, even alter the maps.

Don't bother. I think King Cobra sent him something, but he's awfully busy with a project on Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops. Doubt he has the time for Bully at the moment.

No! Versus would be fun! It would be good if it was online free roam versus, so that it wasn't just you and your buddy, but tons of online people, so you could go around trolling and beating up people. Hahaha

it would be cool if you were set to meet up somewhere with an enemy clique to "negotiate a peace treaty" or something, only to lead them to an ambush!hahahaha
i can only imagine all the possibilities of endless fun bully online could provide, but alas, unless someone makes a bully online mod or bully2 comes out with online, we will have no option but to dream, think and imagine.
I wish making games was easier than it is :(

See here's the thing you guys are ignoring: Bully's fighting system is too straightforward and easy.
If it were to be used in Versus, it needs to be more hardcore. Like The Warriors on drugs.

I like the idea for multiplayer, you should have the option of choosing to either be one of the students at Bullworth or make up A character yourself ya know kind of like in Saints Row 2's multiplayer

I'd buy SE for the PC (bugs n all) if it had multiplayer. Terrorising Bullworth with your mates, what could be better?
It'd be nice to play as a girl though but not be weak as hell. Even if that wasn't possible, I'd still get it. :wub:

I actually have thought too about the possability of a multiplayer addon for bully. IF and its a very big IF...I can possibly get hold of the developers of sa-mp for gta san andreas for which I have coded many multiplayer server mods for (the largest server mod being my clan's test server due to its 600 total commands and very strict anti cheating code) I firmly think it is possible but due to sa-mp being for one closed source and for two the simple fact that noone has yet gotten any the lua scripts decompiled which if done would make creating a multiplayer addon much easier due to getting a better understanding about the game's internal scripting ....other then those two points...it is possible but I dont think it will be done or even attempted by anyone until we all get further along with modding the game since multiplayer for san andreas took quite some time after the game was already being modded extensively before it was created....its likely it wont exist for quite a long time in bully if at all. It is still a nice idea to consider since I firmly believe anything is possible if you put your mind to it and refuse to ever give up....thats why I do what I do....I never give up on my own projects and usually end up doing what most ppl call impossible...since I dont believe in that word anyways...lol
If it was not for the large list of mods I am already wrapping my head around for bully...I would attempt it myself since I do have plenty of coding experience and knowledge to draw upon. sry to butt in this thread like that but I am just trying to be more active here in between my many projects for bully as well my star trek project which I am currently working on as I type this doing a render of the enterprise D bridge which I just completed fully in 3ds max and if ppl wish to see it I will find a section in the forum that non bully images can be placed without cluttering the forum sections up with the wrong content ;)

I don't know anything about mods but im guessing it'd have to be A pretty big and hard to do one if you wanna make A mod like this.
