Auto aim is perfect for this mission, very easy with the sling shot at full power.

heh this level was fun. Theres nothing else to do in the library except spin the globe and  learn strange and funny facts.  Like theres a town named Dildo in Newfoundland Canada.

then again. I'm sure you guys have heard about F**king,Austria. Right?

Slingshot is the best weapon here, everything else just about sucks and is too slow.

Lol one of my favorite quotes is in this mission.
"awhh Algie did you piss yourself again?"
"No i spilled soda on my pants."
"Right Soda."

Rats, Bats, Cats, throw some stink bombs at 'Em.........

Stink bombs work great, when a rat dies, the others seem to gravitate towards it. As you can imagine the stink bomb wiped out half of them. One time I did this though, the stupid bitch ran around and through the stink and I failed the mission!

I cant believe how easy this was for a chapter 5 mission.

I actually failed it once.  That fucking librarian walked into a cloud of stink bombs that I used to kill rats.

Oh. You like to use the stink bombs as poison too.

Marbles and stink bombs work great.  Any rat that walks into either of them is killed instantly.

Post by: T-Bone on December 19, 2009, 10:37:42 AM
It works with marbles too? Thats awesome. Those are usually the only weapons that I have.

Try it, when there are rats in the dorm at night.  You can kick them too.  Just about every weapon you have, including Jimmy will kill them.

For the rats in the library mission i usually walk around with a slingshot with my finger on L1 and rapidly pressing R1.

Fire extinguisher works too... In fact, it DOES damage, but just a little. What gives you the ability to knock out someone being red with... Powder.

Itching powder? Really?
Title: Rats in the Library
Post by: Mike_W on December 20, 2009, 05:35:46 PM
Itching powder does damage.  It takes about 3 or 4 itching powders the kill a rat, but it does a very small amount of damage to students.

I meant the powder of the fire extinguisher.

That too.  The fire extinguisher does damage faster.

Where are there no rats? I mean seriously, the things are everywhere in this game.  You would think they would go extinct the way I kill 'em all the time.

just use slingshot and stink bomb in the right corner of library
Title: Re: Rats in the Library
Post by: Bigfoot on May 01, 2014, 01:41:17 PM
Just done this.

3 stink bombs were all I needed - and the third was only because the final rat - rather than running towards its deceased brethren, decided to race off the other way.  All the rest ran right in - if they'd been piled any higher I coulda used them as a table.
