I left the kart near the start of the race and then when I started the race, the kart was gone.

Sometimes that happens. It can't be too close or too far away. Just try it in different positions a few times and you'll get it eventually. It takes practice!

It's worked both times when I used to do it on PS2 and Wii.

I got the kart to work in the race today. Needless to say I got a new best time

It makes the race just a tad easier! And I hate how the computers can go almost the same speed on their bikes while you go mega fast.

Yeah, I really hate that. They always seem to be able to keep pace with you no matter what. Even on the bike I can see them coming up on me like a bat outta hell!

Game wants to give you challenge even if you use a go-kart.

Yes. If you so much as touch their bikes with your kart they will fall off.

I never bothered with that. I just speed past them, and you'll pretty much stay in front of them no matter what.
