In USA people maybe become adults at 21, but here we become adults at 18. Maybe I won't be as mature as an adult, but I will be one.

Most of Europe varies between 16 and 18. I think it's 21 now in the UK, though.

From the early 70s to the late 80s, many states here had drinking ages of 18, 19, or even 20, but thanks to the Feds, who blackmailed the states by threating to withhold their highway money, all those states returned their drinking ages to 21.
