Bike Races

The bike races are the most fun missions in the game -- A few hints......
Buy or steal a real fast bike...Exprement around with a few of the bikes, and you will see what I mean.....With a fast bike, you can jump ahead of the others right at the start, and stay in the lead...If you mess up and lose the lead, you CAN catch up..And if nessessary, punch the other riders off their bikes..
On races Involving going around the Lighthouse, the other riders will CHEAT and take the shortcut form the path to the beach, so you need to do that also...Otherwise, you'll be following the arrows around the Lighthouse in 1st place, and all of a sudden you have lost...What happened ?? Well, they cheated and took the shortcut to beat you....
You just have to be smarter than the average Bear......

Don't forget fire crackers! Those are real useful near the beggining of a race. And to add to what you said about bringing another bike to the race, Mopeds are fun to use too, Jimmy looks rediculus, but kills the competition on the moped.

I prefer using Stink Bombs there, cause I'm always blown by my own firecrackers, and eggs are quite useless. And when you use stink bombs the others can't do anything for a very short time. If you know this it's easy to make them crash on the wall ! ;)

Mike, I have used firecrackers, but at times that causes the Cops to chase you if you hit the wrong target !!!

True, that can make for miserable race, believe me, been there done that. I did know about the stink bombs and yes, in some cases they work a lot better as the racer affected can't move for about a minute.

New thing - If you are sure that you can go fast with your bike, when you've knocked someone off, leave your bike, and throw him a firecracker right in the face. If all are knocked out like this, you can finish your race at your own speed !

You can usually knock out a Nerd just by throwing him a firecracker on his bike, and it's done...

Yes, you can kill 'em all and still be in the race to win. I just did it a few times tonight and won some mad cash.

Ya know what else? If you get far enough ahead of the other racers in the Academy race, try punching the cars as you go by them. The other behind you will sometimes crash into the car or run over the person that steps out.

That's some fun idea... I like to involve alot of cops in my races too.

I hate it when cops are chasing me during a race. They use those fucking motorcycles to ram you off your bike. Easy way to fail.

Usually hitting pedestrians is the #1 cause of me failing bike races. Stupid cops. :p

Speaking of bike races, in "Race the Vale" I'd always fail because I didn't know about that shortcut at the end that all the other racers knew!

It took me 3 times my first time to notice that shortcut, Always being in front then next thing I know they won.

Had problems with that too, until I saw they were actually going through that way.

Races are a piece of cake when they cheat.

Yeah, but they sorta suck....Hard to control.
Now, if you take them down to the Football Field.......

Easier to fall off on. I wish the go kart worked the same way the bike and moped do if you want to use them for bike races.

Mopeds in game have about the same turning radius as my dad's truck....lol

You can, however brake and skid them like a bike. I just wish they weren't so damn slow.

Anyway, it is fun to run one down to the Football Field and harrass the Jocks, Cheerleaders, and Prefects. Takes a while, but you can punch out the Prefects from the Moped if you keep at it long enough.

Damn sure is....Took me a 'half-a-day' to punch out just 1 Prefect.

But....If you just wanna kill some time on a lazy afternoon for a few hours, it's fun. And for me, always funny as hell to ride past someone on a bike or moped and punch them out.....
