I love things like animals and nature. Its why I hate when I see these abusive fucks on channels like Animal Planet. What's even worse is they don't get the proper punishment they should.

They should have all their teeth ripped out. No novocain.

The max these fucks can get is a year in the county jail and all they get is a fine. I saw a guy who was arrested for beating two dogs to death in a park in broad day light. He did this for a half an hour before they died. He was sentenced to a fine and one year in jail. Is that justice? I say animals are treated just like us. You kill an animal and you get life, or death depending.

Well...That's a bit extreme. They are animals and not humans, after all. Animals are killed in the thousands every day just to feed us, for example....WE can't send all those people to jail, there wouldn't be anymore steaks or chicken dinners or pork loins.
But for the cruelity such as you describe, they should at least get the 'Michael Vick' treatment, only without the big NFL contract after they get out. 3 Years minimum for the first offense, and more for repeat offenders. And for sure, make them a Felon.

That would be a big improvement. I just believe animals need to be looked at with a little bit more significance. Food is understandable. Pets are not. More punishment is needed.

Oh, I do agree....But change comes slowly. It is, say, a lot better than only 30 years ago, when people could treat pets with impunity and suffer no punishment at all. Still a long way to go before people are educated to treat Pets humanely. It will take time...Perhaps a generation...But I believe it will happen.

I hope so. Something has to happen to give animals any hope. I saw a guy in the paper a few years back. He was arrested for animal cruelty. This asswipe chained his dog to a tree and threw rocks at it. Later on he buried it alive. A neighbor luckily saw this and got rescuers to save the dog.

People who kill animals for no apparent reason usually move on to people.

Yeah, that kind of shit sucks. I've had to go take care of the neighbors dogs when they just took off.....Left two dogs chained up in the back. went and fed & watered them, man were they thin....Poor things, friendly dogs too. Those people never came back, so we finally took them in and gave them away later, as I got too much to take care of myself. But the sheer inhumane way that these dogs were abandonded was just sick.
I don't see why people even have animals if all they do just put them out back and never do anything with them at all. That is stinking cruel. Perhaps the worst kind of abuse.
I keep my dogs inside, except on walks and to do their pee & poops outside. I built a 'dog run' out back for times when it is warm enough for them to be out for awhile. In short, I interact with them every day. Funny thing....Dogs need love too, just like us.

That's why I think there should be stricter penalties for unnecessary acts of violence against animals.
Ever notice how they only pick on small animals, too? Go fuck with a bear. Or a shark.

Its called care. If you can't do it then you better find someone who can, not let the animal die. Its even worse when people torture them. A couple teens were arrested for burning a live dog on a barbecue. They didn't really recieve "justice" neither.

Wasn't there also a case where a little kid got eaten by a pet python? As a result the people killed it. How can you blame the fuckin snake?! Not his fault.
