Auditory Experiences / Re: Lawn Mowing Theme in The Warriors
« on: August 11, 2013, 09:08:34 PM »
The Warriors uses the renderware engine.

3 titles use the EXACT renderware engine and were all developed "Back to Back":

- GTA SA
- Bully
- The Warriors

R* North handled GTA SA, Rockstar Vancouver handled Bully and R* Toronto handled The Warriors. Rockstar has been known to "Share" code with other offices, so its very likely vancouver at one point in development of both titles, sent code of bully to toronto to help speed up game development, and somehow the lawn mower theme was also brought over.

This is seen alot. GTA SA data is found in bully and vice versa. Some people keep saying the skateboard found in GTA SA was meant to be used in game, but i disagree. I highly think the skateboard found in the game code was actually from Bully. All 3 companies shared data code during the development of those 3 titles.

What i can say off the top of my head:

Rockstar North shared GTA SA driving and other game mechanics with Rockstar Vancouver, and Vancouver shared some unknown data with Toronto for The Warriors and all back around.

All 3 titles were in development at the same time and SA was released first, warriors second and bully third.

The mention of the internet, and the PC in the Nerd hideout are by no means 80's material.

It's just a town with a vintage look and culture is all.

After looking at it, it seems to be a modern PC. Sort of. They had flat screen LCD monitors in the late 90`s, and also internet. Its not to say it still dont take place in the 90`s. Ive got a black LCD Samsung monitor on my PC that says "Manufactured September 3rd 1999".

Bully 1 Discussion / Re: Nicest bully character

Eunice is a bitch. Angie and the little kids also aren't as nice as they seem.

How come?

Its kinda 50/50 as i had said with Eunice. Eunice is kinda mean to jimmy at first, but changes after he and gary "Rescue" her chocolate.

TUTORIALS / Re: Local Multiplayer Tutorial
« on: August 11, 2013, 07:58:00 AM »
If someone can somehow hack the game to allow people to follow a specific player, this would be epic. Too bad the developers of SA Multiplayer have no intention to help with this project. Which is a shame, considering that SA uses the same game engine and code as bully, it would seem that it SHOULD of been a walk in the park.

Bully 1 Discussion / Re: Bully Movie - Characters/Cast

The voice actors from the game..  :)

That would not work though. 99% of them dont even look like their person. Especially Cody Rose. :P

The only one who would do the part would be lefty, whos voice actor actually looks nearly identical to him.

This is Lefty`s VA:

If there was ever a bully movie? Who do you think would make up the perfect cast?

Bumping because this is a nice topic.

Anyways, the nicest characters would have to be:

1. Pete   - Had jimmys back no matter what and was the only kid to be nice to jimmy at the start.
2. Ms Phillips  - One of the only teachers to understand jimmy.
3. Mr Galloway   - Just like before.
4. All the little kids
5. Zoey  - She was mean at first only because she could not trust boys, as said in the first post.
6. Edna - She is a bit "Iffy", but she is never actually "mean" and seems to really like Jimmy.
7. Angie - She is always nice pretty much no matter what. But due to game mechanics she can be angered.
8. Eunice - She was only mean to Jimmy if talked too before getting her chocolates. But that may of been "New Student" hate that happens in schools. She is always nice afterwards.

The official date is around 2006-2008.

However, if you said the 80`s or 90`s, you would not be blamed. There is absolutely nothing modern about the game. You dont ever see computers (The most hi tech PC in the game is an old white computer sitting in the nerd hangout at the comic shop), and everything else looks like old fashioned new England style clothing seen in the 50s- early 80`s.

I personally believe the 80`s. There is really no evidence to suggest anything otherwise.

I can also have these to back this up:
- Clothing designs
- Absolutely no modern style electronics
- Old cars
- Old fashioned school
- The Greasers (I mean... you NEVER see these type of people in modern days).

Bully 1 Discussion / Re: Is russell retarded?
« on: August 10, 2013, 12:40:42 AM »
No, he got good grades at Math. Know that Bullying is bad (even tho the game mechanics still make Bullies bully other people). Wish that his parents never divorced

Where did you get that info? Played this game many times and do frequent editing on the wiki and have yet to hear any of that.

Russells math was never mentioned, Russell is LEADER of the BULLIES so of course he likes to bully, and in "Busting In", Jimmy mentions Russell lives with his Mom and Dad. They are not divorced.
