What to Expect
« on: September 25, 2013, 02:09:46 PM »
Hey.

So, after playing GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption and GTA V on Xbox, it's time to assume what to expect if R* decide to make Bully 2.

This isn't a wishlist, this is going off on what R* have put in "recent" games.

1.) RAGE Engine.
The physics in the RAGE engine are being improved with every game R* release. Hopefully, Bully 2 will follow up from GTA V with it's physics.
This time, instead of a "defeated" character holding their ball sack after being headbutted, we should expect to see them either rolling slowly on the floor or holding their head.

2.) Multiplayer. ONLINE.
I expect Bully 2 to have online and like Red Dead, I expect some game modes to be changed to fit Bully. Instead of racing in Infernuses, for example, you'll be racing on bikes or go karts.
Likewise with TDM, we should see "Nerds VS Jocks" etc.

Also I expect to see custom titles/rep.

3.) More snitches.
RDR and GTA V have snitches. Bully had them too, but you could easily stop them, wheras in RDR and GTA V, you have to hurry to kill the snitch or bribe them, as rushing away from the scene will not stop the police finding out.

4.) Uniqueness.
OK, Everyone will agree with me on this.
Bully wasn't unique when it came to ped spawning.  You could knock Trent out and you'd see him again right around the corner. Or even see 2 Kirby's talking to each other.
R* will probably [and should] make it so peds who are KO'd will not spawn for a few ingame hours.

5.) Wildlife.
Yes, Bully was the first R* game to include dogs.
However, going by wildlife in recent R* Games, it's safe to expect to owners walking their dogs, rather than seeing a dog randomly spawning in the cemetery.
Or maybe see cats and fish depending where you are etc.
I'm not expecting sharks though. :P

6.) Friends
Meeting up with friends through the phone.
Unlocking them through missions etc.

I mean let's face it. After you complete Bully, do you see Petey? Nope. [Without mods]
So, like GTA, you could call up "friends" and hang out.
Also the activities could be a bit different depending on who your with.
This feature would be realistic in Bully's enviroment.

7.) Random events.
Meeting random characters that trigger mini-missions. Not like errands, I mean like running into someone who needs Jimmy's help or someone who has mistaken him for someone else.
Upon completion, the character may become Jimmy's friend.
They should keep the errands though.

People actually do walk their dogs in Bully.
Check out the rich areas, they usually have townspeople walking with a dog infront of them. Attack the one of them and the other attacks Jimmy.

But yeah, I'd love to see RAAAAGEEE!!!!!! in Bully 2. It has been improved in GTA V and I can't imagine what awesomesauce greatness they'll present to us in Bully 2.

I've never saw a Rich person walk their dog. ._.

At least not on Xbox. :|

Xbox version is the buggiest though.

Also another thing to add to the list:

MYTHS
Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare and GTA V have true myths, such as aliens and Bigfoot......

So maybe the Werewolf is real in Bully 2..... Or we see the UFO that abducted the hobo.

The RAGE engine is getting better and better and with next gen around the corner, Bully 2 has the potential to be bigger than GTA V.
That is unlikely though.

I've always thought the Hobo WANTED to go with the Aliens.  Why else have Jimmy bring him the Transistors ?   So he could contact the Aliens and GTFO Planet Earth.  After all, what does the poor old dude got left here ?

Something like that should be explored more.  Same with the Morgue.  Mission to recover the Alien body for Dr. Slawter to dissect ?

And if they are going to implement that system of characters dont spawn after they are beaten up (obiously they will spawn after some time), They should add more characters for the cliques. and i will like to see less clones ._.

I'd love to find out what happened to the hobo.

The RAGE engine is getting better and better and with next gen around the corner, Bully 2 has the potential to be bigger than GTA V.
That is unlikely though.

Very unlikely. GTA has always been the face of RockstarGames. Steal, shoot, kill, drive and do whatever you want.
Bully has just been another one of those miniature versions of GTA. Never really had the ultimate hype that GTA games have had.

When I saw the bully trailers I didn't want to buy the game at all, but one day ive baught it by mistake and I played it and it was the best game ever.
R didn't do a good job on getting Bully in the gaming world, and even the ranking of game of the year and all of that didn't help.

I doubt R* would do something that crazy. It's not Saints Row IV. :P

If R* do include real myths, I expect to see the "Werewolf" and possibly a UFO flying around, but not accessible.

I actually think R* would make Bully 2 a LOT bigger in every way over Bully 1.

I'd love to find out what happened to the hobo.

A Bully 2 would have more hype from me over Mob of the Dead and GTA V combined.

Said it before, and I'll keep saying it. I want absolutely no ragdoll physics.

GTA V handles the ragdoll physics pretty well actually.
It's IV that failed it completely.

Ragdoll, for me is fine, it makes the game more natural
For me I want; some great, more fluid & fast fighting system
Not just one dimensional fighting system;
but the 360 dimensional fighting system like Jet Li "Rise to Honour" game; where u can do combo & hit people behind or from ur left/right side, GTA V has that too but I think u can't do combo if someone behind u
"Sleeping Dogs" game fighting style not bad too

And more enviroment to use for fighting, not just can put someone into thrash bin, but make it like sleeping dogs where there is so many enviroment to use & interact

This fighting system is crucial I think, just see Bully:SE, where jimmy use his fist frequently, even when fighting the last boss

You do actually use environments during certain fights.
Like Russell, Edgar and Gary.

In my opinion, GTA IV physics were a little over the top. If you simply shoved into them lightly, they just flung to the ground like retards.
