Im beginning to get doubtful about the much anticipated bully 2, I mean theres absolutely no news on it from the official rockstar team, and the musical composer "confirmed" it and he doesn't develop the game. the game bully was released in 2006, usually sequels take place 2-3 years after the original. if the game is being "secretly developed" i really am expecting a fantastic game with gta 4 style graphics

I would give it another couple of months. If you don't hear anything by say, November, I would say that its not happening.

Maybe they started developing it after Bully came out. GTA IV, for example, was released two years after VCS but I doubt that they were developing it two years. They probably started a lot earlier. However that may not be same with Bully.

It could be that the music producer was joking. This is exactly how rumors and lies get started. Someone hears something they think is great, and then they twist the information they heard into something they want to hear. Then they spread the BS to everyone and with no surprise, people get upset when the truth comes out and its not what they wanted.

True that (about the lies)......But, it's the consumer wants that drives the production....If the demand is there, the product will eventally appear....
So, if we....and others like us, keep calling for a Bully 2, on-line in boards like this, and in other ways (E-mails to RockStar ?), This may be able to tip the balance in favor of releasing the next Bully.
In fact, maybe it's time we got a little more pro-active.
There was the fab game called 'Martin Gothic : Unification' that is one of my fave all-times. Never heard of it ? Well, I did manage to get a walkthrough a few years ago, but it is almost nowhere on line now....No message boards, fan base, nothing. This was a very neat game, lots of problem solving, and like Bully, you could shoot your emenies, but couldn't kill them....They were already dead !
Howerer, there was never a sequel.....Didn't catch on, no fan base, no publicity....Could have been due to having no extras or upgrades, or the fact it wasn't set up for a sequel, or prehaps no incentives for new weapons on replay....
If we keep the pressure on, here and elsewhere....Make ourselves heard....There will be our sequel.

I swear that there was mention of R* doing there own convention.
That being the reason why they weren't at E3 this year.
Anyone know anything else about this new convention? Like a date we can look forward to?
Because that'd be the most likely time we get any info about a new Bully game.

Maybe one of us could email a (real) rockstar developer, producer employee etc on the official site, maybe just maybe we could get some answers but if we dont well screw it i'll be let down as shit...

What with Ehn Dee Ays and such.
I'm not finding any useful info about the R* convention. So if anyone knows anything else, do post.
We'd all love a date to think of as an official "Bully 2" announcement.

I know nothing about video game development, but maybe Rockstar didn't decide to do a sequal until after Bully: SE was released? Since that was in 2008, and assuming it takes about two to three years to complete a sequal, I'm going to say they have another year or so to announce something, ANYTHING.
If nothing is announced by summer 2011 I'll consider giving up hope. Until then, fingers crossed!

Friggen music composer had to get everybody's hopes up! But we should all give them time. It's not like they can just whip up an amazing game in a month.

I don't expect to see any real details of the game until at least mid-2011.
But Gamescom kicks off this week so you never know...

If it doesn't come out, I'll buy Bully for PC, and get my geek team into modding it completely !

Pretty sure making a multiplayer would be possible to, being able to get all the skins and everything just like that, mostly all you need for a freeroam/DM/RP thing, just need to find a way to add more people to it, client, yada yada, ect., hey they modded GTA SA and VC for multiplayer, sure they could find a way on Bully, its just to bad its such a unknown game...

I wish he would make more vids like that! What I really want to see is the fighting moves. Will they fight like Jimmy, or will they fight like the character they are supposed to be? Just imagine going around as Seth busting people....

Not for Bully :\he does for a few differnt GTA Games but Bully, nope, i sent him a message asking about fighting styles though.

Yea they could at least announce it, but I don't think we'll be seeing anything until maybe next years E3. You have Max Payne 3 that's announced with basically nothing about it. LA Noire and Agent that are basically in the same state as MP3. I would personally like to see another Bully before Noire and Agent, I'm really excited for MP3 though.
