does modding affect savefile?

I just want to know whether modding affects savegame. I am using that kamekameha mod for gta sa so i just want to know whether any modding of any game affets savegame such as that gta sa cleo one.What if i save the game?

Well, your question varies.

Are you using heavily modified scripts? If so then yes, modding will effect your save game.
Are you using simple skin replacements/fighting styles? No. Modding will not effect your game.

Just remember this, if you are wary of a mod, read the readme.txt [If it has one] and make a backup of the files that need replacing.

That way should you have a "bad save game" you can easily get it back.

The only thing that affects the savegame is mods that modify the stats, weapons, vehicles and fighting abilities. Other mods do not really affect anything unless you for example are using custom models in teh game and make a save with the custom model say....a custom bike next to jimmy or something and then reload that save on a non modded bully....then yes the save will be affected.

You should never save your game while using mods. That is what I do and I never experienced problems.

Reminds me of fightfightfight in gta vc and saving your game.

Mods will not effect your save game unless the mod was meant to change a stat in the game, or meant to spawn a weapon, give cash, or something that would normally get saved but just via a mod instead. For example, if a spudgun was given to you it would be saved if it was a mod or not. It will not say you cheated, because cheat codes were made by the game developers to be in the game, mods just modify the code. Think about what a mod is, it modifys the game. If it is a script mod, it could modify the mission that you would save algie from the bullies, but you'd change or 'modify' the mission's code to instead give you a spudgun, thus the game thinks it meant to give you a spudgun and nothing suspicious happened, as it was what the modified script was said to do.
