Title: bully russell normal style
Post by: darbyharrington123 on November 04, 2013, 04:57:55 PM: this is russells normal fighting style and i know it isnt good like lua but this my first topic but i do mod some and this is it but thanks and it is my first topic so dont b mean about it thanks :D

In the good ol' days when Lua wasn't announced to the public by Mad, and was kept secret between the Biblio-Techa members.

Lua was a great step forward and left HxD editing in the dust.

It's faster to do LUA.
In HEX you need to copy the whole style and paste it and replace and make sure the size is same and blah balh balh.

In LUA u just gotta type PedSetActionTree

in may be hard to learn at first but as soon as u get the hang of it it IS easier.

I still don't get why people find so hard to keep the right size. If you know how to edit ide properly then it is faster than lua.

LUA is a scripting language used to script Bully.
It is NOT JUST for Bully, it is for tons of things.
It wasn't made to just edit Bully's arcade files.
It does however allow you to make new scripts, that you can then replace with a Bully script.
An arcade script, is used frequently because it can easily be started and it won't throw any other code off.
But you can also edit any script in the game, but if you miss some things that should be in the file, it may mess up.
You could edit missions, punishments, the time cycle (Used commonly to mod in freemode) or any script in the game.
However, unless you can decompile the compiled versions of the LUA scripts you cannot edit them.

If u use Russell with B_Striker, you will kill a preppy in 3 hits and a Jock in 5.

Im talking about the fighting style, not the ped who is using it. It doesn't matter if Russell or the other bullies are using it, they will have the same moves.
I know that if Russell is using the style it does more damage. Im starting to think that Russell makes any fighting style more powerfull. :hmm:

nah..if you make ped use J_Melee A they never use shoulder dash because that move was unused because it has more damage and if a J_Melee A like Casey and Bo use Sholder Dash Jimmy will easily gonns die that's also the reason why ped have not too much attack frequency
