Bully 1 Discussion / 12 years!
« on: October 17, 2018, 06:03:34 PM »
It has now been 12 years since Bully was released on the PS2.
It also just so happens to be national pasta day! Like I've said many many times on here, the pasta is something the community deeply values.
Old school meme or not, it's important.

Bully Modding / > Unacceptable Behavior <
« on: January 20, 2016, 01:14:16 PM »
The B-B staff and I have taken notice of some recent cruel behavior by certain members.
On B-B it's completely unacceptable to make fun of another person simply based on their limited english vocabulary.

I was actually surprised at a set few of people who decided to engage in this kind of shit. I really expected more.
Bully might be a videogame about bullies, but there is no possible excuse to start pushing around people yourself. It might be fun for YOU but just step take and take a second to consider the feelings of the person that you're making fun of.

As someone who wasn't raised in the US, I didn't have english as my default language throughout my childhood (which a lot of people can probably tell by my pronunciation at times).
Nonethefuckingless, I'd at least expect a modicum of respect from people that I myself respect.

Now imagine if my english skills were even more lacking, and I came to this forum for guidance on how to mod a game that I like... Only to be made fun of repeatedly by a handfull of people.
We want to keep the modding section a pleasant place to use for discussion, but if this keeps up then we'll be starting to hand out bans to anyone who decides to pick on another user for no valid reason.

Misunderstanding what someone else is trying to say doesn't justify ridiculing them.

This is just poor display. Grow up.

I'll be doing some investigation and comparison betwen Canis Canem Edit (PS2) and Scholarship Edition (PC).
Feel free to post anything that you guys might find. And please, try to include screenshots/video so that people can get an accurate visual of what you're talking about.

- Minor Differences -
TV's have a flickering light effect and a more dynamic static when turned on.

Modding Questions/Help Archives / Pissing action node?
« on: September 13, 2015, 08:38:57 PM »
I can't seem to be able to figure this one out.
I have looked through tons of scripts and also used Node-O-Matic whenever I saw someone use a urinal or an alleyway to releave themselves.
Still, nothing.

Does anybody know what the action node for pissing is?

This mod adds a bit of variety into the bullies clique.
I plan on making more reskins like these in order to make characters stand out a bit more.

Mod Showroom / "New Character" Guide/Showroom
« on: July 14, 2015, 12:31:38 PM »
I'll be placing this in the "Mod Showroom" because I don't really show you the actual steps, just the progress.

Stage 1:

+ Pasted the face onto the character.

Stage 2:

+ Realigned the face in order to fit the model.

Stage 3:

+ Cover more of the face and neck with new facial texture.

Stage 4:

+ Color correction and saturation.

Stage 5:

+ Smoothing out the texture.
+ Made facial hair stand out more.

Stage 6:

+ Slightly more smoothing.
+ Cover more of the body with new texture.
+ Realigned mouth to fit model.
+ Made eyebrows smoother.

Stage 7:

+ Cover arms and hands with new texture.
+ Change hair colour from brown to black-ish

Stage 8:

+ Fixed N texture.
+ Fixed S texture.

Overall, anyone can grab Photoshop or Paint.net and throw together a sweet reskin.
I'm not that good at it, but I think this turned out alright.

Even if you're new to modding Bully, you shouldn't be afraid to try out new and different things.
Just recoloring a shirt can give some pretty interesting and cool results.

* Thanks to the person who let me use their face for this.

Modding Questions/Help Archives / Adding Blips
« on: July 12, 2015, 07:33:52 PM »
I'm currently thinking about getting back into Bully Modding and producing some (hopefully) good mods.
One thing that baffled me for a while that I didn't manage to figure out was blips.

Blips as in those tiny yellow markers that you walk into.
They're often seen during missions and look a lil' something like this:

Does anyone know how to add them?
